Fox Den RV and Campground

We had a great 4 night stay here. Quiet park, super clean with great facilities and wifi. Ridiculously close to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Lots of great shops and restaurants nearby, even within walking distance. Follow the rules, be respectful and you’ll have a great stay. Thanks, Fox Den! 🦊

We found ourselves in dire need of an extra night stay due to an unforeseen health issue. The staff worked very hard to accommodate our semi-emergency need for the extra night! Bob and Kathy were so helpful. The Campground is basic but clean including showers and bathrooms. The Fox Den is close to everything in West Yellowstone and is a great spot, we would absolutely stay again.

Very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean. RV parking is a bit tight. No play areas for kids. A nice place to stay in the evenings if you’re visiting Yellowstone National Park for a few days. No fire pits.

First, let me address some of the negative reviews about Fox Den... All the rules and instructions are clearly laid out and posted at numerous times through the reservation, check in, and time of stay. Following simple instructions is a good thing. It helps keep everyone safe and able to enjoy themselves. My guess (and what I learned by conversing with the groundskeepers) is that the majority of the negative reviews are the result of people experiencing the consequences of not adhering to rules they agreed to follow (and signed their name to).

Now, our review... This place is great! The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds and facilities are clean and functional. Fox Den provided everything we needed to make our time in West Yellowstone memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot if you're in a campervan like us!

Our campground in Yellowstone didn’t have showers so we stopped here. $7.50 for a shower and worth every cent. Owner was very sweet, showers and bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground, and the water was hot!

Mike and Jacob were amazing hosts and made our time staying in West Yellowstone perfect.
The park is beautiful, with big trees separating each space. There was plenty of room in our spot.
It is set off the road so it is a very peaceful place.
The amenities were immaculate and clean.
We would recommend Fox Den to anyone wanting to stay near Yellowstone. Hopefully we will visit again!

Great little campground very close to the West entrance of Yellowstone NP. Showers were hot and restrooms were cleaned throughout the day. Laundry room had multiple washers and fast drying commercial dryers. Hosts were very hospitable even helped a single lady back her teardrop camper in after dark.

Great rv campground. Would def recommend while visiting Yellowstone. Less than 5 minutes to West gate entrance and close to all restaurants and shops!
Amenities included Laundry room with multiple washers and dryers, bathroom and showers (did not use) and very friendly staff. Checked on us a few times during the snow to make sure everything was working. We Stayed for 5 nights and will be back if ever this way again!

Mike was amazing and well connected to the community, he had lots of recommendations for eating and he was right! Open all year, which is amazing because most establishments close down in October in Yellowstone. Park was very clean and well located. Easy pull through site with full hookups. Laundry room was perfect for travelers.

Great sites! Full hookups and 15 minutes or less depending on traffic to Yellowstone entrance! Nice owners who met us when we arrived. Hope we can get in here next time we visit.

We spent 4 nights on a tent spot as we explored Yellowstone. Nice hosts, clean bathrooms, hot showers.

Where oh where do I start?! First of all this place is extremely clean and adorable. My husband and I are from Montana and come to Yellowstone all the time.. first time camping in a tent. The fox den is such a small quiet place. On the fourth of July they hosted a BBQ for all of the guest.. wow how amazing is that?! The food was amazing and to top it off they have property right by the big firework show! They sure do make their guests feel extremely welcomed. In a small town during a busy holiday AND THE WEST GATE OF YELLOWSTONE not having to find parking is such a win win. Their showers and restrooms are impeccable. They have cheap laundry as well...while visiting Yellowstone I would highly recommend staying at the fox den in West Yellowstone. We absolutely loved our stay! Highly recommend . Thank you for making our stay amazing!

Wonderful place on all levels.
New owners are busy rehabbing but we're courteous in their work. They were active on the property making sure people were set and place was clean.
Location is excellent, close to Yellowstone west entrance, but not trapped by the traffic.
Not a luxury park, but has everything you need plus easy access to Yellowstone and around town....and is reasonably priced.
Definitely return next year and highly recommend you stay here as well.
We loved our space, so we hope #2 is open when we book again.

Anyplace owned by amazing people! Called them last and asked if the had places for 2 campers to stay for July 1st-5th they got us in right away and reasonably priced also! Pet friendly and have washer and dryers on site! The bathrooms were very clean along with there showers! On the 4th the set up a spot for all there customers to watch fireworks and supplied us with beverages! Once again very very nice place to stay owned by very nice people!

This was our first non-KOA we have every stayed out. We would absolutely come back here for a next trip to Yellowstone. The pricing was great and the site is well maintained. The owners seem very involved in the park. The laundry mat was clean and the washer and dryers were really efficient. I was incredibly impressed by how clean the bathrooms and showers were as I used them the several days we were here. The tent campers tended to be rough, unruly, and not considerate with bringing mud in the restrooms and leaving their items out of their spaces. But that’s not the RV parks fault. If anything I felt bad for the owners that they had to deal with such disrespectful campers.

The showers were relaxing and always warm. It was convenient and affordable place to camp while visiting Yellowstone. The owners were friendly and kinda and helped us to feel at home.

Wonderful place, great location. Mike and Jacob (owners and operators) were both super friendly and helpful, life-loving people. We had a large rig, and Mike spent time giving us step-by-step directions as we backed into our spot. The park services were great, laundry, bathrooms, showers. Water pressure at site good and no issues with power, even on my 50A rig. They also have plans to start a restaurant on the other side of town. I got to sample some of what they plan to offer, and it was fantastic.

Quit place. Full hookups. Nice shade. I called on a Friday evening coming out of Yellowstone and they were able to accommodate on short notice. Thank you sooo much. We were tired of driving.

Nice little park. Full hook-ups worked without issues. They also have fast Wi-Fi and cable TV, neither of which were advertised on their website. T-Mobile 5G worked fine. Short walk to town. Would stay again.
