Pizza King

The pizza is unique to this area, i enjoy it, my husband grew up here and it’s his favorite. I do think they are a little pricey, compared to others in the area.

Food is great like any other Pizza King. Our order was a little messed up but not enough to bring it to anyone's attention.

Wish we had one here in Kentucky .It's the Best pizza you can get .It beats all the other pizza places. PIZZA KING IS NUMBER ONE 😋

THE PIZZA IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA! this started in my childhood in a small town in Indiana. I got hooked on the Stromboli at a young age and then we moved away and I never got to eat it again. We drive about an hour or more out of town just to go get some of this pizza. The pepperoni is a MUST. Also they have delicious tacos and Mt. Dew. Everything here is absolutely delicious every single time we visit. See you again soon!

This is one of the nearest Pizza Kings to me. If you're a fan, you're going to enjoy this place. If you don't know about Pizza King, it is legendary! There are two different styles of pizza king. This is the slightly thicker crust version. I miss my hometown Pizza King. It was the best ever! Indiana pizza doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's then it's crispy as a delicious light sauce and a very milky cheese.

Steak hoagies with delicious melted cheese, onions and pizza sauce with a side of chips.... Is something that's very well known in the Indiana Cincinnati area. The best place to get it in Batesville, Indiana is here. It's thick. It's delicious. It's yummy and the store is very clean and run and managed by an incredible woman.

First time visit as a Wisconsinite. Great fast service for there being only one staff member on duty. Came in with a larger group. Would come again.

My favorite pizza in town and the girls there are awesome!! We are regulars, and they always take such good care of us!!!

Larry is gluten free and they have a crustless pizza that is so good that I got us each one when I was in town. We like the mega meat one. 😋

When you come home and it's been awhile you want a steak hoagie. Where do you go? Why here of course. Cooked perfectly with lots of sauce. Side of chips and it's heaven. Thank you.

First review in awhile so it might be long one, so I’ll summarize up front: Simply a fantastic experience!! The food and service were spot on. Many thanks to Sharon the manager, Christina the server/cashier & Alexis the cook for her delicious creations.

So. The details. As many know by now, it’s sometimes hard to even find a location whose dining room is open, it doesn’t matter if it’s fast food or “fine dining“, staffing shortages and food cost increases have made dining out a challenge.

I’ve laid off reviewing for a little while just because in all fairness, many facilities are just trying to keep their head above water. With that said, I’m not lowering the bar I’m just saying that this Pizza King set the bar very high for any establishment in the Batesville area or abroad. Including many other Pizza King’s I’ve been to around central Indiana…it was top notch.

Here’s the really important detail, it wasn’t just me and one or two guests, it was a group of 30! Our high school swim team was swimming down at East Central HS for their annual relay meet. As a tradition, the team always stops somewhere to eat and connect as a group after the event. Covid made it challenging last year, so unfortunately we had to opt out, so this year we made calls in advance and sadly many other establishments believed they wouldn’t be staffed enough to provide good service. It’s sad to hear from other businesses and we wish them the best, however it was a blessing in disguise because this experience was wonderful.

Patience goes both ways, especially with high school kids, but the staff did a great job with some complex special orders. Every pizza, breadstick, cheesy bread, pasta dish, and sandwich was made perfectly. Asking the group what they thought afterwards they were amazed at how quickly their food was made and how delicious it was.

So again kudos to Alexis, Christina, and Sharon. You made an annual tradition become alive again, and set the bar high for other spots in years to come, and based on this experience I’m sure we will be back! Very Merry Christmas to you all and thanks again!

The food was good. Service was fast. It's much better than my local Pizza King.

Pizza was great! Sub was small, not the traditional size, but very good. Limited service so not really an issue, you order at the counter and they bring you the food.great place to meet halfway between Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

Love this place! The restaurant is always clean, the food is awesome and the staff is wonderful. Our food arrived quickly and was straight from the oven. You won't be disappointed!

WOW! Pizza King pizza like I grew up eating it in Muncie. No skimping on toppings here, and the crust was firm and crispy on the bottom, like it should be. I will be driving from Indy to get my Pizza King fix in Batesville from now on (unless I am near Top Hat 2 in New Castle).

The pepperoni pizza was perfect. Super tasty !! 😋

Everything is good is all I can say. Fast service, simple but friendly service, great prices, and I can't think of anything else I'd rather eat most days

Good place for pizza and beer to watch the game.
