Very relaxing 4 hour float, enjoyed every minute. River is not fast moving. Think...very lazy river.

Broken Paddle made a great day with our sons easy. Online rental and waiver, coaching by the crew as we drove over to launch, help launching, exiting, and wrapping up. Great experience! We will be back.

We had a group of 5 go kayaking this week and had a blast!! Employees were so nice and chill. Booking process so easy and all information was provided upfront. Such a relaxing, fun day.

Best outfit on the Harpeth River. Great location as far as river access and a great stretch of the Harpeth River. Mellow and friendly hospitality. They have a gift shop!

We had the best family experience here with Broken Paddle Outfitters. The staff was all incredibly nice and helpful. They have a little shop located inside the check in station where you could purchase things for your trip down the river. We forgot a much needed energy drink and a snack and we were able to buy it there. We had a wonder family day on the river. Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

This is a fantastic company! They squeezed us in at the last minute on a very busy day. Fantastic service from the minute you get there. They drive you to the launch, carry all your tubes down, and pick you up and carry all the tubes back up. We had such a fantastic float on the river and an amazing day. Special shout out to Forest who was able to find some extra tubes to make this work on a day when they were all booked up. Great communication, texts, and information on when we are supposed to notify them that we were near the point to get out. They were waiting for us and we had a swift ride back to our cars. Friendly employees, easy booking, and waiver signing, and a really cute gift shop. We will use them again soon!!

Had a great time. We did the 5.9 mile trip starting at Coley Davis and ending back at Broken Paddle. Everyone was kind and chill. Very laid back people. The Harpeth was beautiful but there was some really shallow spots where we got stuck and had to get out and walk the kayak. The kayak also had soft back seats with adjustable straps that didn’t offer the best back support for a 2-3 hour trip. That was the only small thing. Otherwise it was so much fun. Would definitely come back again and invite friends.

We had a group of 10… Which I changed to a group of 11 at the last minute. The entire process they were completely accommodating and super prompt in answering my questions. The kayaks were in great shape, booking was super easy and convenient, and it is a beautiful stretch of the river! We’ve tried several put Ins on our own and have gone through multiple companies as well in the past, but I think we have found our new go to! Great parking, clean vans, and cute store as well!

I have gone kayaking through this outfit four times and I have gone tubing once with my entire family. All of my experiences have been very enjoyable and the staff are very personable. The name of the company notwithstanding, their equipment is great and always in great shape. If you want to spend a peaceful and enjoyable day on the river, by yourself or with others, Broken Paddle Outfitters is the place to make that happen.

This a review for their Montgomery Bell State Park location, but since they don't have it listed on Google Maps, I'm leaving a review here.

My cousins and I rented paddles boards for the afternoon, but within 10 minutes a major storm pulled in. We came back to wait it out, but after it cleared, the staff informed us they had to close early since it was unlikely anyone else would be by after the storm. They gave us a number to text to ask for a refund, and within a couple of hours everything was taken care of nicely. It's a shame we couldn't go paddle boarding for longer, but their prompt service and understanding of the situation gets 6/5 stars; highly recommend!

Super nice workers who accommodated us with a late arrival and shuttle service and helped blow up our own raft. They also have a shop with sunscreen and any other last minute needs. Close to Nashville and a fun easy float down! I will definitely be back when the water levels higher.

My fiancé and I have gone on canoe trips with Broken Paddle atleast 3 or 4 times a year for the past few years and are never disappointed. The staff is always so nice! The route is just challenging enough to be interesting, but pretty easy to navigate, making it a relaxing and fun outing every time!

Was able to be a part of my boyfriend’s first kayaking trip, and broken paddle made it amazing. Great communication and super great staff. This is my 4th time this year going and it’s still early! Great company to book your kayaks with! Did the two hour Harpeth trip and all of the workers who helped us on/off the river, given instructions, and drove us were all extremely helpful and kind. Will book again! Shuttle, kayaks, and all of the equipment was clean and in good shape.

When I think of having a good time on the river, I think of my experience with Broken Paddle and it's new restaurant Fork And Paddle! My first experience on the river was with Broken Paddle and I was well taken care of! Now, all my river trips are with them! The service they give you is personal and they go above and beyond! We love Broken Paddle and Fork And Paddle! 💙

Rented a kayak & floated/paddled the Harpeth. I texted prior regarding details and they were quick to respond and were so helpful! The kayaks/equipment were in great condition. The shuttle had cold AC & was in excellent shape. The staff loaded our kayaks for us and helped us in & out. Totally worth the minimal $45 for the experience!
