Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard

First time visitors! We had such a nice day when we visited. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday. A wedding party was arriving when we were heading out. Gorgeous views and great wine!

Every time I think about our wedding and this amazing place, plus people, I instantly smile. I had my wedding here 07-19-21 and it was nothing but amazing. Everything was perfect for us. we used both the inside and outside venue and took beautiful pictures on the vineyard, the inside of us doing activities ect. It was truly a fairytale like wedding for me. They do not serve hard alcohol which was fine with us we preferred their delicious wines which you can get from the small store they have. We had a mishap and lost majority of our wedding photos and I was so bummed about it ( still am) because our photographer captured beautiful scenery pictures and behind the scenes it was just awesome. We picked a weekday during a nice warm July day and it was perfect. They made us special drinks and provided private rooms it was truly everything, I just cannot thank them enough for making our beautiful day such a life long lasting one.

While driving up to see Sight & Sound's production of Daniel, the Home Boss (wife) & I stopped at Britain Hill for some wine tasting. The number of wines to choose from was almost overwhelming. We had almost as much fun haggling over which wines to try as tasting them. In the end being a warm day, we each chose 4 different sweeter (beach) wines. The winery has several options on where to go to enjoy your wine; inside, outside on a covered deck, or up on a hill with Adirondack chairs & picnic tables. We chose the deck. Turned out to be a wonderful afternoon. So much so, we drove away with a bottle of the Wild Bear...ies and Spiced Apple.
Next day, we came back and each got a glass of wine, grabbed a couple of Adirondack chairs, lit a cigar, and since not many folks there, practiced our dancing for upcoming son's wedding. Then drove away with another bottle of the Spiced Apple.
The winery staff were very kind, down to earth, and very patient. All in all, wonderful winery, many delicious wines to choose from, and great winery staff!
Next time we're in the Lancaster area, will be sure to drop by.

Our nonprofit watershed association held our annual dinner at Britain Hill. It was fantastic! Debbie worked closely with us before and during the event to make sure everything went smoothly. Staff was efficient and friendly. And our group really enjoyed the wine! Can't say enough good things about the venue. Highly recommended.

One of the best kept secrets in Amish country. We drove up from Maryland not knowing what to expect. The winery is housed inside a beautiful wood house with the tasting room at the basement level. The aesthetics are pleasant with a natural wood look with a long wood bar and bottles of wine directly behind. The two ladies working the tasting room had the most wonderful personalities and we had a great time chatting and learning about the venue. There was a food truck on site serving excellent BBQ, and it was about halfway crowded when we arrived just in time to make our way to the back patio with our wine and beer (yes, they serve beer too!), grab some food, and hear some live music all while admiring the beautiful countryside in one of my favorite parts of the country. The grounds are immaculate and next time, we plan to walk them a little more to take in more of the atmosphere, but this is definitely a new go-to destination when we are looking to escape our familiar surroundings and head to the country for some wine and relaxation!

They supplied us with an incredible selection of wines for our event at Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet! Set up was clean and professional, plenty of samples for people to try, and friendly host explaining each wine! Will definitely use them again for more events. Highly recommended!

Went here for a jewelry make and take got to taste their wines. Lots of sweet, dry and semi sweet. Very friendly owners. Currently located in their garage (very nice setup). Their venue should be done late August. Fun event. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful venue. We were there with our food truck, Krazy Kones. We will be back Sept 15th. Come check out our unique cuisine and have some drinks in gorgeous southern Lancaster County.

My son and daughter in law were married here last month. Deb and her team were wonderful and great to work with on their wedding day as well as preparing for their big day!!

I was honored to be a guest in attendance to a wedding at this venue.
The view from the outdoor ceremony space was lovely.
I liked the variety of wines available by the vineyard during the reception. The wild berry was my personal favorite, with the peach as a close second.

I was in the bridal party for a wedding there this past weekend and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the staff! Debbie was always available to us and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and knew exactly where to be and what to do. The venue is AMAZING! We had a gorgeous day and it was so wonderful to be able to focus on enjoying the wedding, knowing that Debbie and her staff had everything taken care of and running smoothly. The reception was great and the wait staff were so attentive, kind and efficient. If you're looking for a venue for an event, I cannot recommend New Britain enough - you won't regret it!

I was just in a wedding there, and I have to tell you that it was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and the food was great. The venue was gorgeous inside and out. The timing of everything from the cocktail hour to the dancing at the end flowed perfectly. I would definitely recommend this venue!

I was the groom for the wedding this past weekend, I enjoyed the event completely. I showed up and from the very first second the owner and planner was nothing but helpful. I knew exactly where to go when to be there. The staff for the venue were so nice always had a smile, very polite, they made me feel relaxed for I knew everything was being handled. If you are planning an event in the future I highly recommend Britain Hill they are a class act and always professional.

We have attended several events at Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard, and finally had one of our own. We hosted our daughter's "couples" baby shower here, and it was a complete success. This is an amazing event location. The atmosphere is awesome and the barn is gorgeous both indoor and out. The scenery is spectacular, especially for outdoor pictures. Our guests raved about the extensive wine list and the selections they had. The owners Debbie and Ken are so easy to work with and both made sure everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this truly one of a kind venue, and are so grateful to have a venue like this in our area.

My friends and I were there for a line dancing event. The hardwood floor is excellent for dancing. The staff is friendly, what a great time we all had! I can't wait to go back!

Venue is beautiful and well maintained, staff is very polite and respectful, owner Debbie is very nice helpful and determined to make your day run as smoothly as possible (which she did.) Bridal suite was cozy and made getting ready a breeze. Would recommend this as a wedding venue or any event venue to friends and family. A wedding day is a wonderful day to celebrate the love between two people, I believe the staff helped in making this day as easy, enjoyable and stress free as possible for the happy couple.

We had a great experience working with Brittain Hill for a rehearsal dinner. They were accommodating and flexible with everything we needed/wanted. The staff the night of our event was attentive and went above and beyond to help make our event special. We received so many compliments on the beauty of the venue as well. It really was perfect. I would absolutely book again for another event and highly recommend them.
