Alright. Let's talk atmosphere. 5/5 nice area, some local photos and art, some sound dampening on the walls is always a great choice, big open front windows on a gorgeous 80 degree day? a dinosaur with balloons??? I mean come on, that's enough to warrant the 5 stars right there, but wait! There's more. I could have told you their beer was great before, but what I didn't realize is how they'll revisit tried and true recipes and mix it up and create new familiar flavors. Tangerine bobcat! I'm looking at you. And since the kitchen opened up? It's easily become a must visit location in spearfish. The Balboa flatbread and cheese curds became the highlight of my wife and I's day. We'll be back, and we hope to see you there. It was well worth the stop.

Extremely kind and thoughtful staff! They recently come out with a food menu and ALL and I mean all the food I’ve tasted from it has been fantastic. Monday bingo nights in fall/winter are always so fun and my family looks forward to them and the great beer served!

Amazing little town and way more welcoming and more relaxed than Sturgis! was on a trip to Montana and spent breakfast here at the restaurant next door, great service, friendly welcoming staff as mentioned, after my meal bought a flight of the beer next door, worth every moment spent, Derrick was positive willing and enjoyed my company as he served my flight and prices are very affordable! do not pass this brewery if you are in the area!! a great variety of beers and sours, something for everyone and they are well made!! 5 Stars!

My number 1 brewery in South Dakota. You have to visit this place and try not only the beer but, the wings with their special dry rub. You can thank me later.

On a 13-day bicycle tour of the Black hills and devils Tower, this is the best beer hands down. Take note of all of the awards they have won. Taste them all.

I really loved this place. It was January when we visited but we were able to sit outside around a table with a fireplace which was so amazing! The beer was delicious as well and I loved their selection! Also clean bathrooms which is such a plus these days. I had bird bones which is pictured below. We also had a sour and an IPA but I am blanking on the names. Each one was so great and we loved them all!

Probably the best craft brew house in the area If not the entire state of South Dakota. Very creative and great tasting brews. Be sure to ask for Nathan when you stop. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the brewing process. You will not find anyone who runs a cleaner place. A must stop.

Great atmosphere, we relaxed after a long day and watched some baseball and enjoyed a few pints. Beer was very good. I had Venner. Staff was friendly and kept their cool when it was very very busy. Son and I had chicken strip baskets. It was good.

Cool atmosphere, lots of different beers to try from 4 oz testers to 16 oz. Chocolate chip cookie with the kids meals are bomb! Pictured is left- cheese curds, right- pretzel bights with cheese. Both super good!!

Seriously, this has quickly become my favorite brewery of all time. Great staff, amazing selection, and fantastic atmosphere! The Bobcat is an incredible sour. I bring three crawlers back every single time we’re in the Hills. Worth the stop. Worth spending the afternoon!

Great variery of beer to suit just about everyone's preference... and then some. Most would consider it light on IPA"s, but I'm ok with that. Having Dot"s pretzels was totally awesome! Super friendly, helpful staff. Definitely will return when in the area.

Beer I drink not but this place is cool. Those who drink beer will be wowed by their unique flavors. They will bring good in from Redwater if you prefer their food. Kids welcome.

This is a regular stop for us :-) the servers are always friendly and knowledgeable! You have many different choices of Brew along with some non-alcoholic choices with Lone Pine kombucha being one of my favorites.
