The Clarkston Royal Diner

Really classic diner feel that we could tell from entering would likely be good. We were immediately seated and given water before we got menus. The waitress and service was quite fast despite many people being here. The price compared to portion size was great. We've done a lot of diners across the country and found the Royal Diner perfect. Thanks for a great meal and service!

We had a great Mother's Day breakfast here. Even though the restaurant was super busy, all the servers were really pleasant and happy. We never felt rushed and the service was great. Our food was fantastic as well. We brought home plenty of leftovers because the portion sizes were so large. Prices seemed to be typical for 2024 diners in the area.

Great all American diner with a huge menu. The food is always consistent and well.made with generous portions. The service is always phenomenal and the inside is cozy.

Great place. Love the atmosphere. Service is fantastic. Refills on drinks without even being prompted. The menu is massive, and I have a hard time choosing each time I come here. The portions are generous. You won't be disappointed. We stop in for quick bites, and the wait times are very fair. Vegetarian options and kid friendly.

My ONLY complaint is to please do something about the restrooms. They definitely need some attention. Kinda ehhh, skeeved me out a bit. Other than that, I love this place!

My sister took me here for the first time and I loved it. It was playing some country music the service from The Waitresses was excellent. the food they gave was a LOT! Even went back the second time and it still was great

This is one of my favorite diners. I live close by and the quality of food is tasty and portion sizes are always generous. They always I have tables full. Staff is very friendly and the owners Martin, Joel and Albert have owned this place for 11 years as of October 25 today!! Wish them a happy anniversary when you see them.

My family loves this restaurant and it was my first time here. We were celebrating my grandson's birthday. Our waitress was on top of her game! We had a memorable time with excellent food and fantastic service! I would certainly recommend The Royal Diner to everyone!

Great diner and a must try if you're in the area. They made me this special order, philly cheese steak omelette (not on the menu currently) Wow was it delicious! Great service and atmosphere makes this a 5 star place ⭐

What a phenomenal experience! Delicious, fast, friendly…. Did I mention delicious? I was hesitant to eat here on a busy Sunday mid-morning fearing a long wait with the parking lot so packed, but they got my whole family right in. Kim was such a thoughtful waitress and seriously, the best BLT ever!

Needed a place to take my girlfriend out for a good meal and I picked here. The smell coming from here once you arrive is amazing and it just gets better once you're inside. The place looks like a cony island on the inside but it's not. Very clean and lovely with efficient staff and wonderful food.

Delicious food. Very well priced. The exact atmosphere you'd expect out of a diner. This was our first time stopping in but from the conversations happening, most people are regulars. The staff know the regulars' names and treated everyone so well. Wish more places were like it. Great spot. Will be back next time we're passing through.

This diner is me and my father's FAVORITE place EVER. We go there almost every weekend, and the food is always delicious! The employees are always very nice and know us, and the drawings left by one of the employees that are at the register glass are lovely. The food is delicious, the building is gorgeous, the atmosphere is cozy and wonderful, the employees are kind, overall, I 100% recommend going here! I recommend the saganaki highly.

Great spot, lots of items to choose from, prices are reasonable for the serving , food came out hot and fast. Service was super kind and friendly. Would recommend 👍🏻 will come back if in the area again .

Got the Chopped sirloin special!
Saute onions, mushrooms, cooked exactly to med rare.
Mashed potatoes, gravy, and hash browns.
Topped off with bowl of homemade lemon soup.
Our server was so nice and friendly, definitely a big tip.
It's always a great place to eat as couples or large groups.

Very busy place. Staff friendly menus had a large selection of all kinds of meals. Prices are great for a large amount of food. Clean place. Definitely be back.

The Royal Diner is a gem among the typical food fair on M59. Their menu is incredibly extensive with something for the whole family. This seems like one of few places that actually deserves the title "Diner". Definitely has a 60s feel and great specials. My kids loved the great kid's menu, and I was impressed by the giant corned beef and swiss sandwiches! They look like something you would see served in New York! The prices are reasonable for the portions that are served. The service is exceptional and the servers are friendly. The workers who manage taking payment up front could be nicer, however workers are hard to come by so I can see why they keep them on. Over all, an excellent restaurant! I would highly recommended dining in and relaxing with the great food.

The hours are awesome.This place is perfect for people who are not typically 9 to 5'ers and eat late. Such a wide variety of food and desserts and a relaxed atmosphere The waitresses are amazing!

Food is always good staff are courteous and attentive!
My only complaint is there's always a wait but that's because they have great food and service love this place
