Shinbashi

Sitting at the sushi bar made for immediate service. I was even handed my rolls directly from the Chef. The food was delicious. I order the 3 rolls lunch special which allows for any 3 choices off the Sushi Roll List which was quite extensive. And comes with a Soup or salad starter.

Heavenly tasted food with authenticity, ambience and service is awesome. Will visit this place again if i ever get back to maine. ♥

We travel the country, and let me tell you…this is some of the BEST Asian Cuisine we have had! Everything is so damn good! Best sesame chicken I personally have ever had! And if you go…WHICH YOU NEED TO! Ask for DANIELLE to take care of you, she was outstanding all the way around! This is food you will crave, not joking!

A really great Asian Fusion restaurant. The portions here are really quite large. Everything was delicious. I had a light green tea to start. For apps, My table had crab Rangoons (very large, nor greasy, and filled with a creamy crab rich filling...I did not have any, but my table ate them all), miso soup and Wong tong noodles. The miso soup is pictured. The soup was warm, lots of spinach. I next tried a single won ton strip. My parents really enjoyed the won ton soup. I ordered the dinner bento box. It came with the miso soup, an order of sushi (I selected the sweet potato sushi w. avocado), I selected chicken katsu (lighted breaded), the bento box came with greens, eggplant/green beans that were pickled, white rice, dumplings, and fruit (lychee and pineapple). It was such a lot of food! It was really great. There were chopsticks on the table. A little pouring ceramic of soy sauce. The sushi roll came with 6 pieces. The plate was very green Wasabi and ginger. The sweet potato sushi was really interesting. It had a great texture. The chicken katsu was not greasy and a lot of chicken. The fruit was palate cleaning. The people next to us got a hot pot that looked really fun. I went to the bathroom. Really clean with unique colorful fixtures. Our server was very attentive, but left us able to converse. The night ended with a fortune cookie. My fortune is that I will visit here next time I breeze through Ellesworth!

Dropped in for some sushi on a day trip to the area. Sushi was great! But the real surprise was the coconut shrimp. It was fried excellently and the sauce had an extra little citrus tone. In addition to these it came resting on a bed of honeydew melon and was prepared so beautifully. Would recommend for Asian cuisine.

We stopped here for lunch on Wednesday and we were the only customers. I still don't know why: the food is amazing, prices are reasonable and the service is very fast and friendly. I'm hoping that this was one off because this place deserves to be busy for lunch, it's great! We had a few different rolls, miso soup and a bowl of tom yum.

Food is always amazing here. Insane roll on special was great. Some of the interior decor could use updating. We drive an hour to come here without hesitation.

We did take out so can’t say much about the the restaurant itself but the food is excellent. We got Mongolian beef, Schezuan fish , chicken mei fun ( rice noodles) , miso soup. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The dishes are a bit on the pricier side but the portions are huge and made with quality ingredients. One entree can be shared by 2 people.

Some of the best sushi we have found on the east coast! The rolls and portions are huge. Huge menu so be prepared for selections.

The first time I went here a few weeks ago it was honestly the best sushi I’d ever had; I got miso soup, tuna dumplings, and the red lobster roll. They were all fantastic.
However, I went again about two days ago and I think they had a different chef, but the food just wasn’t as good. Also the miso soup was oddly sweet?

A truly immersive gastronomic experience. Shinbashi was a tremendous restaurant. For my main I tried the Pineapple Chicken which was served in a half pineapple. We we're served the most vibrant colored green tea I've ever personally encountered.

our server was amazing and kind,we had to wait 2 minutes to be seated and the food came out quickly!! the restaurant design was very amazing,and decorative!! and the food was so good + they gave us lots and lots of food!! and had multiple Asian foods i couldn't even finish it😭😭 OVERALL 10/10 BEST ASAIN RESTAURANT IN ELLSWORTH❤ I RECOMMEND GOING

Amazing quality with portion sizes and excellent customer service. It's definitely a must visit!

Went with a huge group of friends and the waitress there was super friendly, funny and sweet and made us all feel comfortable.

We went out for a girls night on Friday and had a great time. Started off with fried calamari and crab rangoons following with some chicken wonton soup. We had cam for a waiter and he was incredible. Despite being a busy night at the restaurant , and he was extremely attentive , Very Polite ,kept checking in to see how we were doing ,everything came out in a timely manner. Will definitely be back! Great food and a great atmosphere !

Went to Shinbashi the other night and it was our first time going. It was amazing and the food was outstanding and so was the service. Our waitress Bing was incredible and will be definitely going back.
