Thai Chang Cuisine Mount Pocono

This is a new, updated review because we had dinner here now a second time this evening and liked it even better than the first time. I had the crispy chicken pad Thai because I saw a review from someone else who said it was excellent and they were 100% right! It was absolutely delicious. My husband and I also shared spring rolls and veggie dumplings and then my husband had a garlic & pepper stir fry with seitan as well as a crispy duck salad and he just loved that too. The owner is lovely as well as her son and it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Not a fancy restaurant but the server was great and provided us great recommendations, one of which I'd already planned to order. The food was surprisingly amazing! I got the regular Pad Thai and hubby got it with the crispy chicken. The food was favorable. The chef specially prepared hoisin sauce. Would return if we ever passed through in our travels.

Amazing Thai food!! Highly recommended if you want to taste the best Thai food. Its a small restaurant but the host are fantastic and provide service with a smile!! We had vegetarian options almost all of it. We had gone twice in two days to enjoy the spring roll, dumpling, pad thai noodles, peanut sauce, pineapple fried rice, stir fry veggies and cashew nut. They are happy to customize spice and even exclude eggs from the dishes if you are vegetarian or vegan. If you are in Poconos, do go here!!

Thai Chang opened a second location,Thai Chang 2 in Mt. Pocono and I couldn't be happier. I've done take out and stopped in to dine twice.
The food is AMAZING and the restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The customer service is superb.
The food was fresh and very flavorful! Everything we had, the Thai Chang wings, fried rice and duck were cooked to perfection!!
This will definitely be my go to spot when in the area.

This place was delicious! I got crispy chicken pad thai and it was yum. When they say it’s spicy it’s SPICY. I’m usually good with spice and ordered a 4/10 spice and my lips were burning, so keep that in mind lol. We got the crab rangoons and wing zeep for appetizers. The crab rangoons were not great but the wing zeep is a MUST! Best food at the table!!

I love coming here for a good old Masaman curry and Tom kha soup. Can never go wrong with any of those dishes. Had some curry puffs and chicken satay, both very very good as always.

The Thai iced coffee is also an absolute banger! Definitely recommend trying it at least once.

Food was so good I forgot to take a picture, but i got pictures of the dessert!! We are just visiting and we were looking for an exciting place to eat, this was a great choice!! Family run business, their dishes and friendly service was very delightful and is what makes the place stand out from other restaurants you’ll decide to try out. If we lived nearby we’d come often, but was a great stop!! Also enjoyed the customizable spice experience, scale 1-10, you decide what you can handle 😂

We were in just for one day and decided on a whim to pop into this restaurant after doing some grocery shopping next-door. We were wild and surprised by how good the food was and how warm the staff is. The drunken noodles were delicious and not too spicy. The won ton soup was quite good. Definitely give this place a try. We will be back.

Tried chicken pad Thai for the first time was fantastic the lovely waitress suggested it and sure enough it was a hit! Will recommend to all!

I ordered takeout from Thai Chang last minute, and I was thoroughly impressed. The online ordering process was incredibly easy and convenient. Pickup was a breeze, and the food was ready right on time. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free, delicious Thai meal!

One of the best Thai restraunt I have visited. The taste was amazing and the service was really good. They have opened newly and have a very authentic taste. A must visit for Thai lovers.

Looks like a simple take out place but wow, we were blown away by the flavors. One of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. Great flavor, option to add spiciness and good noodle texture. We got a spice level 2 and don’t think we could handle more one or two levels more than that. My husband was skeptical but now wants to come back whenever we are in the poconos. Casey was great server too!

FINALLY!!! An AMAZING place to eat in Mt. Pocono! For those who don't know...Thai Chang 2 is actually their 2nd location. Their 1st location is Thai Chang - which is located in Stroudsburg. (And their reviews are HIGH for a reason; they surpass many restaurants in this area in my humble opinion)

Tonight, I tried the Red Curry w/ chicken & my husband had the Mango Curry. Their curry had the most PERFECT consistency, not overspiced & soooo unbelievably flavorful; the veggies were lightly cooked retaining their nutrients...which I love because its much healthier that way. Their food is truly an art.

Also, this place doesn't use MSG like other places...which is a win in my book. We are so thrilled this place exists & we will be coming back SOON!

Food was good. Place seemed nice and new. But dinning at 6pm on Saturday was a hot mess . Dirty tables. A stain right in middle of floor from a spill. Crumbs all over under tables. A little better set up where dinning in people and take out would work for bettering your business. Server was very inappropriate dress for that kind of work. Either she was not well equipped in her front desk area or she couldn’t handle three tables at a time on top of calling in customers. An apron pad and pen / and ice cups silverware up front would probably save her a lot of time.

Everything about this place is 5 stars, great food , service, and super clean!!!! Waitresses are beyond helpful and sweet !!

The food was fresh and tasty. The portions were average. A little pricey but well worth it. Very authentic tasting. The crispy duck was very good. Loved the flavors for the red curry. A perfect blend of Thai spices. The Tom yum soup was very rich tasting but lacking vegetables and shrimp. (Adding more of these ingredients to the soup would be a home run). Staff were super friendly and helpful. When ordering remember their spice is much hotter than American spice. 2-3 is a good heat. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

first time here and I haven’t even tried the food yet but just by the service alone this place deserves a 5/5’! I’m sure the food will be just as good !

We had pad thai and basil fried rice, both with chicken, and curry puffs. All were fresh, hot and delicious. Very clean dining room . We'll definitely be back.

What a wonderful spot! The owner was delightful, and the food was excellent! A big plus for me as someone that loves spicy food - you can order the curry “Thai Spicy” and it is actually quite spicy! The green curry was especially delicious. Highly recommended!

I came for lunch with my son. We tried the dumplings and the Thai stir fried Ramen special. Both were delicious. The owners were super nice too. The place was nice and clean too. Highly recommend.
