When discussing the project (old fence demolition & new fence install) with the contractor during the bid process I obviously asked a number of questions ....the usual, style, materials, time line, price, etc. Since my wife and I, in our opinion, have a nicely landscaped yard, I also asked if his guys would be careful working around bushes, flower beds, etc. His answer was a classic. He replied "I am the guy" and literally he is.

Guy (his name) is a one man show, and the "show" is 5 star.

Our new fence is perfect. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

One last comment. Our neighbor has him scheduled to replace his fence next month. Seeing is believing.

Guy finished our fence yesterday, could not be any happier! From start to finish Guy was a true professional. Our fence turned out better than we could have expected, you can tell the man knows what he's doing. He used all the best products inspected every board before install, this fence will outlive our house for sure. Thanks for everything Guy, you did a WONDERFUL job. Guy is the man! He's been building fences for a very long time in JC. In fact, he was recommended to me by two different friends for a privacy fence. He uses good quality materials and 3 nails per attachment point -- He also makes sure that everything looks great, even around tricky corners, etc. Definitely give him a call.

Guy finished our fence a couple of days ago. Boy are we happy we chose him to fence in our backyard. 660 feet was a big job but it looks
perfect. We couldn't be more pleased. So nice to sit in the backyard in front of our out-building in the shade with a beautiful dog-eared fence completely surrounding us. Thanks, Guy, for a job super well-done!

Guy just finished installing a privacy fence for me. It was a big job at about 400'. He did an awesome job! He is a hard worker and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He shoveled snow out of the fence path just so he could keep working, knowing that my dogs were eagerly waiting on this finished product. Now, the dogs are happy, the wife and I are happy, and we have a fence that we know is done right and will last for years.

3 months later - Our fence looks even better. Guy came back and stained it for us. He again did a great job and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Guy was amazing from start to finish. You can tell when interacting with him that he is passionate about his craft, and the final product shows it as well. Throughout the process (quote, design, construction, and staining) he was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. The fence is clearly of a high quality, both from his talent in design and construction as well as the raw materials. He's a pleasure to work with, and you can't go wrong selecting him for your fencing projects.

Guy was awesome!!! He built a beautiful fence for us a couple years ago. It has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has seen it. He took such great care in building it, almost as if he were building it for his own home. The material he used was of good quality and still looks good today. Last Winter a large tree fell through the fence, but because the fence was built so well, the damage was minimal. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Guy Jacobs. We needed our backyard fenced in at our new house and there was a pre-existing wood fence that we needed to match. Guy came out and met with me personally and gave us a fair quote. He finished the job quickly and the craftsmanship was beautiful. Woodcraft fence installed my first fence over 30 years ago.  I moved and had them install another fence soon thereafter.  Fast forward 28 years, and Woodcraft just replaced my old fence with a new one.  I didn't even bother with additional quotes.  No one else is going to come close, and the quality of materials and worksmanship is as good as you'll find anywhere.  Woodcraft is now a one man company, Guy Jacobs, and he has tons of experience to offer solutions to any obstacles that may arise.

Guy is the MAN if you want your fencing done right. He gives a thorough estimate and takes plenty of time to explain the job he plans to do. He is professional and accommodating to the customers needs at every turn. I cannot say enough good things about his work. Would give him 6 stars if I could!

Guy did a fantastic job on our privacy fence. He had some tricky issues to deal with when he got into the job, but navigated them well to ensure that our fence was of the highest quality and that we got what we wanted. He works hard, on time, and to a high standard.

Guy built the fence at my house before I purchased the home. Recently, a couple of boards needed to be replaced thanks to my pup. I contacted him to see if he could make the repairs. He arrived the same day I phoned and made the repairs at a reasonable price. His workmanship is excellent and he uses quality materials. Very professional. I would highly recommend Woodcraft!

I was in need of a fence for my backyard and called Woodcraft Fence Co and a competitor for estimates. Guy, the owner of Woodcraft, came out to my property to carefully measure my yard and discuss options. He was very friendly and professional, and provided some great advice as to how we could mitigate my neighbor's unsightly yard.

In the end I chose Woodcraft because the competing company was only interested in spending the minimum amount of time necessary installing the fence, would rely on subcontractors for the labor, and showed no interest in spending any extra effort or discussing ways to make the fence look as nice as possible. They also were going to charge over 50% of the total cost estimate Woodcraft gave me, for a chain link fence that would link up to my neighbor's existing (and broken) chain link fencing.

My new wood fence is beautiful, and Guy took the effort to dig out the earth where necessary to create a perfectly even line of pickets. He also had no reservations recommending a modestly priced picket and design. I love the heavy duty locks and hardware, and I'm sure the fence will last for a long time.

Guy also communicated very clearly as to time, cost, and what to expect. Working with him was a great experience.

We had a very big fencing project with post and rail and no climb fencing around our house. It was a total of 626 feet with 2 double gates and 3 single gates. Guy did such beautiful, detailed work on this fence. He worked the project by himself and took such care of every detail. We were putting the fence up to keep our dogs in the yard (we foster blind dogs) and we were looking to let them roam a bit while keeping them safe. Guy knew the fence was mainly for the dogs and took such care to make sure every possible area where they might squeeze through was secure. The no climb fence went directly on the ground or slightly into the ground. The rails were spaced where the dogs would not be able to squeeze through. The latches on the gates are such good, sturdy quality and look great. My husband and I love it! This is the second fence Guy built for us. He did a smaller version about 4 years ago at my moms house and it looks as good today as the day it was built. I would recommend Guy and his work over any other fence company.

I echo the rest of the reviews. Guy recently built a beautiful fence for my wife and I. The most remarkable piece is he constructed the entire thing by himself. He embodies all the things you'd want in a contractor-great communication, unmatched work ethic, and exceptional pride in his craft. We couldn't be more pleased, and we look forward to him coming back in a few weeks to stain it once it's had time to dry out.

We recently had a new fence put up by Guy Jacobs, owner of Woodcraft Fence Co and it is Awesome!! He stuck to his time line and his attitude is wonderful, very pleasant to work with! Pricing was very reasonable also!! He , HIMSELF, put up our customized French gothic fence one board at a time! He is such a hard worker! I can’t say enough on how Pleased we are about our fence!! We had Guy install a 6' tall wood privacy fence w/gate on our property. Guy is a perfectionist and takes GREAT pride in his work!
