Pok Cha's Egg Rolls, LLC.

Just tried out Pok Cha’s for the first time today for lunch and it was a SOLID 10/10! Fast and friendly service and this food is AMAZING! I got the kimchi fries and a plain korean corn dog with beef and cheese. I will definitely be back on a regular basis! So glad to have this in Hernando :)

My wife and I shared three dishes from there yesterday. Chicken and Veggie Egg Rolls which were off the charts! Wonton Chicken Nachos and Chicken Wings which were excellent. A definite do over and a nice change from Mexican.

After years of watching mukbang videos and hoping to one day try a Korean corndog I finally found the spot. Had me dancing in the car eating it. Definitely 10/10 with a chef kiss! However, I received a weird look from on of the chefs in the back almost as if they weren’t expecting black people to come in. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Therefore I’ll just get my food to go like last time 😘

First visit . . . Ordered 2 smoked chicken eggrolls ($12), 1 Korean Beef & Cheese corndog ($10), 6-piece Korean chicken wings ($12). Overall impression: very good.

Keep in mind: I grew up eating Chinese food cooked by a neighboring Chinese family (my second family); I spent 3 years overseas in Japan where we enjoyed Japanese, Hawaiian, Korean, and Chinese foods. 1st thing: I had never eaten anything like what I ate at Pok Cha's . . . this is not meant to be a bad thing. Pok Cha's identifies at being "fusion" Korean. I was impressed.

The egg rolls were 5 inches long and about 6 inches in diameter. Yes, it had some veggies in it, but the abundance of chicken was pleasantly unusual and made a single eggroll a good size portion. My husband and I each had one and thought it was definitely above average. It was served was a really tasty and chili sauce with finely chopped peppers -- it was not a token sprinkle of red pepper flakes, this was really good. It was spicy enough to make my nose run, but not so spicy the heat was a problem. : )

The Beef & Cheese corndog was also 5 inches (or a little more) long, greater than 6 inches diameter, and on a stick. It was indeed a slender pork hot dog in the center wrapped in cheese and a delightful batter (not cornbread tasting like an American corndog). It had a really delicately crunchy outside (Panko maybe?) and the biggest surprise -- a dusting of granulated sugar. The layers of flavors with a touch of sweetness was excellent.

The Korean chicken wings were actually three 3-part wings (drummy, flat, & tip). To give the "6 wings" the wings were cut at the joint between drummy & flat, but still slightly connected. This wasn't a problem and gave you the same number of drummies to flats vs a combination where maybe you have more of one or the other. While the wings were messy, they were worth it.

I understand Pok Cha's began as a food truck (and continues to offer this service), the walk-in restaurant is delightfully decorated and has the small and intimate environment that makes a family restaurant loved. I am so pleased Hernando has this offering and can't wait to try more from the menu . . . which may change according to market availabilities.

BEST Korean food around!! And the sweetest couple who own it! This is not your typical Asian bistro--- They have very unique items to order for the entire family. You will not be disappointed in the food or the design of this restaurant! So good and SO fun!

When I served up the beef bulgolgi my 9 year old son said "are we eating from heaven right now?!" The Korean hot chicken was my favorite and the egg rolls are craveable. Parting words from my kid "how did Mississippi get a place this good?"

I've had dinner and lunch here now and both were spot on delicious with perfect portions. While my wife didn't care for the veggie egg roll, I thought it was delicious.

I got 2 chicken egg rolls . outstanding! crispy ,great taste came with a sauce that was very good. kind of sweet and sour. Definitely check it out! can't wait to try the bulgogi!!

Best egg rolls around.

So first I want to say the bulgogi flavors were great. Tasted really good and the egg rolls were good flavor and large! However the portion sizes of the bulgogi and corn dog I ordered were tiny. Like 3.5 pieces of short ribs and a small scoop of fried rice, and no kimchi even? Mind you the prices are pretty high. I mean $20+ for a few short ribs and a small amount of rice and no kimchi. On top of that the korean corn dog I ordered (beef and cheese) was mostly cheese and dough. They cut a tiny hot dog in half which meant half of the entire corn dog was just cheese and dough(look at the picture I included)...for the price you're paying here you should be given MUCH bigger portion sizes. I understand they are locally sourcing their food but portion sizes are laughable. We paid (my husband and I) $72 and we're not even full and I'm a petite person! Won't be coming back unless they fix their pricing and portion sizes.

Tried the chicken bulgoli and beef wonton nachos. W/tip it was $49. Nachos were solid, nothing special. Chicken was bland and had little to no flavor. Not worth the money.
