This visitor center can be quiet busy especially in the morning. There's a line if you want to talk to the rangers for some information but they are very knowledgeable. Junior ranger booklets and badges are also available here. I love that there are some exhibits in this center that we enjoyed. The store inside is small but had some stuff you need like shirts, hats and other souvenirs. The bathroom downstairs are clean too. Don't miss out on visting this center whenever you are at Yellowstone.

I visited the Albright Center over memorial Day weekend. It was busy, but not oppressively so. I had no wait at the gift shop or to speak to a park ranger, and there was no wait for the restroom. There are two areas upstairs with displays showing the wildlife of the park to better help identify the animals I saw. There was also an exhibit in the basement of the history of Fort Yellowstone and how it became the park headquarters. The ranger I spoke to was helpful in showing me where to go to see certain animals, and identified a photo I had taken on the drive into the park as a female elk. There are restrooms and drinking fountains in the building.

Very friendly staff providing information about the park and educating the public, including children, on how to respect and care for the park. Also, what to do when encountering wildlife. The exhibits are quite informational too.

So, the Albright is a hoppin place, there's a ranger station, lots of interactive displays and a natural history museum. They have restrooms and gift shop. You can get all your questions answered there if needed. But I think the biggest draw by far is the fact that this one of only a few buildings in the whole of Yellowstone that has WiFi...

We walked around and read the park information. They also have restrooms and a gift shop area. I took a picture of the elevation which was just in front of the building.

Awesome building in old Fort Yellowstone. Now a 2 story visitors center. Lots of great information regarding the start of the preservation of current Yellowstone National Park. Great displays and exhibits. Clean restrooms. The area around the visitors center has concessions for food & gifts.
There is no fee to the center but you pay to enter Yellowstone NP.

Surprisingly engaging visitors center. Definitely worth taking some time to look around and explore this neat historic building! Main floor has a good amount of wildlife found in the park on display while the basement has exhibits on the history of the park.

Housed in a building that was part of the old fort Yellowstone, this visitor center has plenty of great exhibits and very helpful national park staff. Parking is plentiful as long as you get there early in the day. Leave your car and take a walk around the are. You'll find wildlife, views, historic structures and plenty of food available.

Neat displays about the history of Yellowstone, wildlife you may see in the park, and rangers there to answer questions. Free, no tickets needed.

One of the nicest, most informative Visitors Centers we've been to in the US. So much history about Yellowstone National Park is everywhere you look. Cool exhibits and very clean inside and out.

A must stop at Yellowstone National Park. Has a nice museum with lots of Yellowstone history. The building is old and in great shape. Just down the road from the hot springs.

This is a great spot to get information and explore what the park has to offer. The visitors center is not huge, very informative. They have some very nice exhibits. You can easily park close to the visitor center and stroll around town. There is plenty of street parking available. You are still a ways from the exit and Montana. Make sure you take the time to visit Lamar Valley - tons of animals!
