Carlitos Mexican Food

Saturday, March 30, was our first time here. It was a phenomenal experience. The order taker took the time to go over Items on the menu as well as offer what was he favorite items. The food was beyond our expectations in taste and presentation. The owner later came out to see how we liked our choices. This type of atmosphere and service are rare these days and it is now one of our favorite restaurants.

I've been going here since they opened in the 80s. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. I always enjoy watching Deal or No Deal. My favorite dish to order is the chicken taco salad in the edible bowl. And of course an apple chimi! We are so thankful the new owners took over so we didn't lose this northland staple.

So glad this place is under new ownership and was told they plan to bring prices back to earth so I can justify eating there more than I have been since covid jacked everything up.

And they have a decent taco Tuesday deal now 😋

Always great food and service. Only thing I don’t like is when I forget and drive up on a Monday to get food and see they are closed lol

I've been going for over 20 years. Ppl tend to really like it, or really dislike it. I love it. It is not a fancy place, but a sitdown fast food place. Yes, its simple, but healthier than Taco Bell and I prefer it way over taco bell; and you can watch them, I like that. The best sauce ever. And I love how the employees treat you. A laid back, fun environment, with speedy service. And almost all the employees I've come across are super nice and service oriented.

Carlitos used to be in Liberty and we went there all the time. Since moving over to North Oak, I miss that they are close but will still drive over for Carlitos Nachos. Staff are always friendly and food is fresh and hot. This is worth thesmall drive.

I've been going here for decades. Usually get the Carlitos burrito w chili and cheese +2 tacos. Other things are good too. Always delicious. Generous portions. Tacos are loaded with cheese. More falls off of theirs than other people put on.

I always stop when I'm in the area! Great food!

My wife and I came in with a coupon and I'm glad it was accepted because the food was fantastic. Given the chance, we will be back.

Carlitos has been a part of our family for 30+ years! It is a northland staple with lots of yummy food options. Fresh, high quality ingredients is worth paying for in my opinion! It never disappoints! “Who wants Carlitos for dinner?!” is a question that is sure to put a BIG smile on my family’s face! Unanimous “YES!”

The food was amazing! I LOVED the green chicken enchiladas! Everything was full of flavor! The staff was really nice and helpful as well!

It's a small Mexican restaurant in a store front building. The food is really good. You walk-in and place and pay for your order. In a very few minutes they have your order ready to either sit down or take out. The employees are friendly and helpful with any questions. Their prices are good also.

First time eating there today friendly staff, clean friendly environment . Not to mention phenomenal tacos and believe me I search for the best tacos everywhere I go. Trust me I'll be back soon. But don't take my word for it go in and try it yourselves. Great prices great food you can't go wrong here!

I've been going there since they were at a smaller place on N Oak. Absolutely one of my favorite places to go!! Not sure how many years they were at the other place. My ex husband would eat 10 tacos every Friday. Love the nachos and tacos!!

First time in and had a wonderful experience! Everyone was extremely friendly, service was fast and the food (ground beef, hard shell tacos) was tasty!

Always friendly folks here. Establishment is always clean. Great prices, great food. Food is always made to order, and it's always hot. If you like hot salsa, try the extra hot, it's fantastic.

Been going here for years. Quick, decent prices, great food. Favorite salsa ever, and available for sale in jars at the counter (you get a free taco when you bring back the empty jar)!
