The Black Bear Pasta & Steakhouse

Everything was perfect and has a great family atmosphere. Our waitress and manager,macayla, tended to us and checked up on us periodically catering to our needs. We ordered three apps,(cheese curds,cheese sticks,fried green tomatoes), all three came out in a timely manner as was cooked golden brown and crispy just the way they're supposed to be. Thr kids got the Mac and cheese dinners which they ate every bite. I went with medium well ribeye straps on a bed of fettuccine Alfredo and oh my was it amazing! Strips was cooked spot on. The portion size was so big I even had to ask for a to go box. The wife ordered a t bone medium well with a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and she ate every bite...and was very full! We also ordered desserts to go for home. Funnel cake fries and salted caramel lava cake and those, like the rest of the food, was absolutely amazing. If you're in the irvine area or even traveling to the gorge this year look them up located at 77 river drive in Irvine KY! I forgot to.megion that the house made ranch, marinara and cinnamon butters was in the top 3,if not the best, of each that I have ever had! Btw...they have an all you can eat salad bar!

Truly a delightful place. Great food, honestly can expect steak better than Ruth's Chris, and you won't be disappointed. Use the Dijon butter, try the ribs.... ENJOY!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and grilled chicken with bacon and mushrooms. Had baked beans, Cole slaw, potato salad, fries and salad bar as well. Everything was freshly made and delicious! Menu very reasonably priced. Service was great. Wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks (don’t think they serve alcohol). Nice outdoor seating area. Very clean. Highly recommend!

I ordered the ribs, loaded backed potato and roasted veggies. Those ribs...WOW...deep smoke flavor and just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The loaded baked potato was huge and you just can't go wrong with roasted veggies. To have a restaurant like this in Irvine is awesome!! I will DEFINITELY be ordering again and I can't wait to go try out their breakfast buffet!!! THANK YOU Black Bear for offering delivery...that's a HUGE plus for me!!!

We went later on a Saturday night. We felt no pressure to get done quickly. The service was great. The food was quite tasty. The menu was varied with a lot of choices. The prices were reasonable. It's good to have something different in the area.

Good, friendly service. I had crab legs and steak both were delicious, my friend had the Alfredo with steak strips and said it was the best Alfredo he had. His pasta dish was huge and he took the rest home for lunch.
We will definitely be back!!

Ordered takeout, but walking in the building and atmosphere looked nice. Stage for live music and outdoor geodomes on the patio were unique. All the food we ordered was great. Deep fried ravioli appetizer, lasagna, Italian sausage rigatoni, and cheesecake. Look forward to our next visit.

The best new restaurant in town! Been coming here since Friday of opening weekend & the food and service has continuously grown to be better! While it is a little pricier than most restaurants, the food is absolutely worth it & everyone serves with a smile! Will keep coming back as long as they are here!

Great service from the very beginning. My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Happy there’s a steak place in these parts. Plenty of good parking and conveniently located

Drove from Richmond with a couple of friends to check it out. We were not disappointed, but very pleased with the service, quality and quantity at such a reasonable price!! We will definitely spread the word and hopefully be back!!!

Service was great, food was excellent. Recommend it highly. If you want a quit light lunch or a musical dinner try it out. You won't regret it.

First visit. Had several appetizers, dumplings, fettuccine, crab legs and Philly cheesesteak. Everything was really good and the service was excellent. We will be going again!

Maybe others have had some bad experiences but the food was great, huge portions, incredible menu to choose from,, service outstanding and very reasonable!!!
