I had the best experience with an extremely nice lady named Jody today! I never have anyone as nice as her when calling the surrounding rite aids. She was so kind and very helpful. It doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you Jody!!

I have been living in montoursville for over 25 years now and have been going to that rite aid for that long as well. I go there for all my prescriptions as well as my children’s prescriptions I have never had any issues with any associates or pharmacy technicians there ( always friendly) that is until today the pharmacy technician Kim was very rude and condescending when picking up my prescriptions. She was so rude in-fact that she argued with me in front of the other customers who were waiting in line behind me and when I turned around to leave because it was apparent she wasn’t going to stop arguing the people behind me gave me a look of shock at what had just happened. She was very unprofessional. Like I said before everyone else I have ever dealt with in there have been great but today was a NOT a good experience for me at all UPDATE on 11/10/23 once again I was talked to very unprofessionally and hung up on !! I am trying to pick up a prescription which has strict guideline to adhere to for my acne and for some reason the pharmacy kept saying I couldn’t get it because some requirements weren’t made and that I need to call my doctor who prescribed it so I called my doctor-and everything was done right on their end called tha pharmacy back and told them what I was told then they told me to call ipledge so i called I ipledge and everything was Good on my end I did the bloodwork and answered all the necessary questions I have to answer every month. Ipledge said it’s on the pharmacy’s end to call some number that they need to call each month for the prescription to go through and they haven’t done that yet. So after calling all these numbers and calling the pharmacy back like 3 times I told them that it’s on their end to call this number I’m calling all these different numbers for them trying to figure this out (all while trying to set up for a craft show in a busy gym full of ppl) trying to get this prescription. It was the last day I could get it because they are not open weekends and the window to pick up the prescription was from the 6th till the 12th ( this prescription was called in by my doctor on the 6th so they had that long to get this filled and didn’t) I finally told them that I was told that it was on their end and that if they couldn’t figure it out then they need to call ipledge when the lady (Jody) in the pharmacy got very rude so rude in fact that she told me she does this every month and did everything right and that she did Everything she’s suppose to ( even though I was told by ipledge and my doctor that they didn’t)she wouldn’t even let me talk but told me to go somewhere else to get my prescription and hung up on me! I can’t go anywhere else to get my prescription if it was all-ready called in to that one! I have a problem trying to pick up prescriptions almost every time I go there! Seriously get anxiety now about picking up prescriptions because their is always some problem. This pharmacy seems very unorganized and chaotic. Some of the employees are friendly and helpful but it’s the few that are rude and unprofessional that make this pharmacy an extremely unpleasant experience.I’m so done with this Rite-aid it’s a joke anymore. It has really gone down hill like I said before I have been getting my families prescriptions here for years but NO MORE! I have to go a whole month now without this medication all because of their Inability to do their job not only that but then to be treated that way and hung up on It’s completely unacceptable!!! I get that they may be stressed or maybe their understaffed but it’s simply not ok to do this to people I have been extremely patient with them when they have messed up in the past but this time it was beyond unprofessional!!! I have to without my prescribed medication now! I didn’t call the customer care number before when the first incident happened but I am this time !
