They are the best at what they do and they do it well.

They also have a sandwich shop inside and they have great customer service and exceptional sauces dips and salsas. I highly recommend him if you're purist and like good meats.

Some of the best beef liver I’ve ever had in my life! So soft and tender, unlike other places where it gets a bit tough and rubbery. Great customer service and superb sandwiches. Highly recommend for the people of AV to visit this place.

Since it's family owned and the son has taken over it's slowly coming back to the place we love. Love the fresh meats. Veggies are on a slow come back but it's happening. They have frozen fish that is awesome, and more. Support local if you want quality. Prices are just right. Cash, card, accepted here no EBT,sorry.

This place is under new ownership so i have no idea why a reviewer from a year ago made racist comments about this business. I'm brown and proud af, and so are the new owners! Even if there was some sort of political opinion poster, people have a right to that here in America! Everything i have purchased from here has been fresh, delicious, and at all very reasonable prices. I'm a return shopper after every payday and look forward to returning. Dinner let others agenda fool you, this place is legit

I have been going to Ben’s for years because of the freshness and selection. In my opinion the prime rib roast we did this Christmas was the best we ever had. I also enjoy the fact the owner is willing to stand behind his principles and lose customers over it.

The service is really great too even with Jillian constantly roasting me, Jasmine always looking ready to fight me and don’t get me started about Paris and her sister…

I just realized my entire life is a lie. I have a Bacon pan. I start out with six pieces and by the time they are done cooking, 8 fit. Because of bacon shrinkage. Today, i put six pieces and to my absolute surprise, upon completion of preparation, only six pieces fit. My bacon didn't shrink! I don't know what magical properties these butchers impart on their products, but this is the bacon, the best chicken, the best burger, everything i have eaten from here is the best i have had in a long time, and all at extremely reasonable prices. It'll be a rare occasion when i get meat elsewhere.

The young Lady is very nice. The butcher (old guy) is friendly. Went here to try it out. Second time going there. First store run, the deli is delicious (Boar's head brand) their sausage links mild and spicy. Second run, bought more deli meat and cheese and there bacon. Does it cost more than other stores? Yes, but the quality of their products are better. Hope this is helpful and support small businesses.

Very friendly people, don’t believe into the reviews. I’m brown and I didn’t feel any racial tension from the owners, just smiles and kind customer service. It’s California people are just looking to support their liberalism. If you didn’t like the sign on door, it did say take your business elsewhere. It takes courage for the owners to post that sign, I commend it.

I have been there twice so far and get this, my wife wants to keep buying our meet there from now on.

Bought a 12 pound brisket from them for under 60 bucks and was by far the best quality of meat that I’ve seen.

Their marinated chicken, whole chicken, ground beef and many other items are priced very well, along with the staff everyone is very friendly and patient with their customers.

Visited Ben's Butcher Block at their new location, and now they do sandwiches! I get all my meat there!

Great service and product. Ben's Butcher Block is located inside another store, so for the review that said they watch you to make sure you don't steal is referring to the primary store. I have not seen any evidence of racism at all. As far as the products. I frequent there to get ribs. They precut (St.Louis) them and pull the membranes off for you. So far this is the best place I have gone to get quality meat in the AV.

Great customer service!!! If they don’t have it in the case just ask and they’ll cut it for you. All the steaks I have gotten have been superior to any store bought steaks.

This location is much smaller than the last with a well laid out meat counter.
The staff was knowledgable, helpful and friendly. The prices are surprisingly good.
We picked up a couple of prime tri-tips, had them seasoned at the store and reverse seared them at home. The quality was top notch.
This is a small business worth supporting.
