I live an hour and a half away and this is my number 1 book store. Every time I am in town I make sure to stop by.

The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. The selection is outstanding. New and used alike. Super quaint, a person coud spend hours in here.

Moderately sized bookstore packed with used and new books. Good selection of all genres, with the sci-fi/fantasy section right in the front (like it should be). There are also substantial-sized self-help and psychology book sections, which I was happy to see. So great to see a local independent bookstore pop up in this area

There is nothing I love more than a small local book shop with a huge selection on books & genres. The book house in cameron park is a gem and I love bringing my daughters along with me to pick out kids books. New & used at amazing prices!!

I love this bookstore! The Bookhouse has a wide variety of both used and new books. They're well organized and each category has a large assortment within it. They have everything from Current Affairs, Military and History, Religious, Manga, Cooking, and, of course, Fiction. Plus a lot more. The books on the shelf are carefully curated so it's not just junk. They'll even order books on request. And, they take trade-ins for store credit. I've shopped there many times. The Bookhouse is a rare treasure in Cameron Park.

Such a cute and cozy book store. I could get lost in here for hours. Lots of selection and cozy spots to sit and read. Excellent prices too. Plus you can take your used books in for credit towards more purchases.

New and Used books for sale at a great price. If you want a specific print Heather always tries to find what you're looking for and get it in for you no questions asked. They're very friendly here and questions don't go unanswered. They're always willing to make suggestions. I really enjoy not only going to this store to make a purchase but also leave the store feeling like I've made a connection with my book seller. They're a small business that knows the customers are their asset and vital to their success. Please take the time to visit them. Being the lonely nerd I am. Places like this, that make me feel comfort, are places I'm likely to return to again and again.

What a gem to have in Cameron Park! This bookstore has become a favorite place for my kids and I to visit. It’s always so exciting to see what books we will come home with! The prices are phenomenal, better than Amazon!

This place is a sanctuary. My kids and I look forward to coming here once a week and there are always new books to choose from.
I love searching for used bookstores, this place is one of my absolute favorites! All genres of literature are equally included and easily found on the well organized shelves. The owner is very friendly and readily available to answer questions or help to locate a book. The set up is beautiful, wide array of books to choose from, kid-friendly, helpful staff, and COVID-conscious!

This is the best gift of goodness ever. Sometimes we meet and never feel a difference inside out. But that is not the case here . Personal service extraordinare... Heather the owner is Veryyyyy well read and extremely informative.

You must go. This is such a sweet bookstore. Like it should be tucked away in a forest. Love the seating and great selection of books for all.

This is a wonderful book store! The owners are lovely people. They are very knowledgable and eager to help you with finding the best book for you. I can’t recommend this bookstore enough! It is a weekly destination for my family!

My family loves this place! There is a kid section too. Used and new books. You can turn in your used books for some credit toward buying used books. Great atmosphere!
