Annabelle's Chocolate Lounge

This was a quick awesome stop on our way to Lake Tahoe. Upon entering we knew we were in for a real treat. The dark chocolate tart cherries are so amazing. Excited to try the rest of the goodies we have in our box. The service was fantastic and the aesthetics transported us to a little piece of chocolate heaven.

Best handmade chocolates. Adorable place, great wine pairing, sip and paint classes are a blast. If you haven't been you must go. Staff is awesome. I've not had chocolates anywhere better than theirs. Excellent

You can't go wrong...it's chocolate AND wine!?! Yes, please! They were busy, fully-full when we got there to get four boxes of chocolates. You'd never know it from the service though, They packed up our boxes just for us, and while we waited, we were offered help by several other employees as well. We love the chocolate, but it's the people that really seal the deal.

The best chocolates. They were social distancing but the wine and paired chocolate flights were so fun and Amazingly paired. Can't wait to go back.

I have always enjoyed chocolate of all kinds. I thought S***Candies was the best when I was growing up, then I had G*^**va chocolate and I thought I was so fancy… until I had Annabelle’s given to me as a gift and I was hooked! I have NEVER had a chocolate that made my eyes close in delight. The chocolate is super creamy and smooth. The ingredients must of come straight from heaven. Just by the way everything tastes and is packaged Is a clear indication that not only are the employees dedicated to the craft of making chocolate but truly respect the standards to make excellent candy. I’m in love with the milk chocolate honey comb, the toffee, dipped Oreo cookie and the dipped cherries dark and light!!! I’m never going to get chocolate from any other place ever. I am so excited to spread the word on how exceptional this company is. Thank you for such a delicious delight!!

You walk into the lounge with wine tasting/drinking on the right side and huge chocolate display cases straight ahead. I asked the counter staff about a few of the chocolate items and instantly knew she was knowledgeable and friendly. Two of the best ways to make me buy and enjoy my selections. I also had her make up a gift box of six with her choice. We kept talking during her selecting chocolate and she recommended a chocolate truffle with cayenne dusting. Delicious. I will definitely stop by the next time I get in the area of El Dorado, a upcoming unique shopping and restaurant street.

Bought some delicious chocolate there. Owner was friendly and shared a ton of info on their chocolates. Can wait to do a pairing with wine soon!🍷🍷🍫🍫

It's chocolate is so so good I can't resist going in there and the ladies are just always so accommodated and nice and I love it my dog actually loves going in there himself I think it's the smell he's always wagging his tail

I drove past this place many times on the way home from dropping my daughter off at school. Then one day, she and I finally decided to check it out. So glad we did! This place has a great vibe. Very welcoming merchant. Amazing selection of chocolates. She gave us a sample of the Game Changer. Wow! We have since returned many times on our way home from her school. I may even host my book club there next time! They also offer wine and chocolate flights.

This place is magic! Wonderful staff, beautiful environment, and that feeling like you’re somehow back in time with old friends. You guys are awesome!

Best chocolate around. Been coming since she opened. Staff is always friendly, helpful and patient while we embrace the aroma of chocolate, view the eye candy and then decide from a broad selection what we want. See's has got nothing on her. Great place to get a gift for someone special or for a treat and movie night.

I love Annabelle 's super nice helpful staff. They take the time to beautifully wrap your chocolate. The chocolate is amazing and a wonderful place for a meeting party or just a quiet moment.👍

This place was great! Good selection of wines and awesome chocolates! So funny we wee passing through and thought what a cute little old town then we saw this place of all things. Glad we stopped!

We love this place! For Valentone's day, my family gathers here, makes a couple picks and we all share the divided chocolates. I've enjoyed a glass of port here and a truffle with girlfriends, and after enjoying a previously agreed upon amount of Halloween candy, we bag it all up to get it out of our house (we're not big sugar consumers...it has to be special) and the kids look forward to getting their reward of a trip to Annabelle's chocolate for a real treat.

I live just minutes from Annabelle's and drive by every time I go out. I actually like to stop every time I go out, but of course, that's not feasible. The first time I went in, they had not yet set up the lounge part, but she was selling and I was buying.

How fortunate we are in El Dorado (such a tiny town) to have Annabelle's. Top of the line delicious treats and many are sugar free. They are very friendly and the lounge is comfortable.

And do you know what else? They can ship their deliciousness to your family or friends.

They are the best chocolate makers in the country. We only get there once a year, but worth the out of the way drive to get lots of great flavors.
