I went in to get outfitted for Jenkinson Lake fishing. Got my reel spun with line and had expert recommendations for bass fishing the lake. I have been up here catching bass thanks to Zach’s help. I really recommend Mosquito Creek Outfitters! Thank you!

This is a very nice and well run outdoor sports store. They have a great selection of all types of firearms, fishing and hunting supplies, archery equipment and accessories. Hunting and fishing tags are also sold here. Nice displays and layout, enjoyable to walk around and shop. Most of the staff is very helpful, friendly, and attentive. I've been to all the gun shops in this area, and Mosquito Creek Outfitters is definitely the best one.

The people are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed going there having Zack work on my bow and got my first bear after he tuned it up for me. I also bought a CZ 75 compact gun. The guys behind the counter were knowledgeable in helping me pick and choose a pistol that fits me.

Cool little outdoors stoor in Placerville! Helpful staff, good selection of items, and the coolest little French Bulldog you've ever seen!

These folks are very nice. Easy going. Totally helpful and not greedy. They want to help. I’m lucky. I went in to fix a firearm I could not repair on my own. Mike gave me an education and did it in the most friendly manner. I’m lucky for him and this shop. I totally recommend.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they and support. They specialize in firearms and archery equipment with a small touch of fishing rods and supplies. The management and staff do a lot to make you feel at ease during your browsing and/or purchasing experience. Should I or my family have any questions or issues they are there to offer their full support.

I stopped in here while I was passing through town. Not looking for anything in particular. The guys at the counter were all eager to help. The new selection was like most places right now. However they have some used and consignment inventory too. I grabbed a mag I needed. Seems like the go to place for all your sporting needs in the area.

Great little store, decent selection of items. They're really knowledgeable and helpful when you have questions, and super nice. I just wish they were open later or open Sundays, but other than that I can only say positive things!!

Great staff! Very convenient place and knowledgeable staff. Too bad the government is too busy keeping people from buying ammo rather than fixing our state problems. These guys do good work and try to get people through the DROS paperwork as fast as possible.

Don is very friendly and helpful, fair rates and will assist you with all of your archery needs whether you are just getting into archery and have a "starter" bow or a premium bow he'll help you. Great guy to talk about bows and hunting! Been to some other bow shows and and chain outdoor stores and this is our go-to place now for sure. Even if you didn't buy the bow from him, bring it in to him, he'll work on it.

Went here to pick up some flys and worms for trout fishing. Decent prices and friendly staff. They also have dozens of animal mounts. They are everywhere. Lions, bears, elk, deer, turkeys, you name it. If you like that kind of thing then go check it out! If you don't, then I wouldn't recommend going here.

Went here to buy a few things for a fishing trip last minute, decent selection of products, but what impressed me more was their rod selection. There is not too many people that care Phenix Rods, also I think his name was Zack, but he was incredibly knowledgable and professional!

Awkward location, nice people, neat store - cozy and presentable. Can't comment on prices. They do PPTs (private party transfers) and offer the FSC (firearm safety certificate)

Awesome local shop, competitive prices. They delivered on having inventory when the chain stores and other local shops didn't!

New to firearms and first visit was a welcoming pleasant one. They showed us a variety of hand guns that might work for me and my mate. Patiently giving details on the guns, safety, and operating them. Thank you MCO!

Love this place! The owner is an awesome gentleman and super knowledgeable! Highly recommend if you're in need of hunting/fishing gear, or if you just wanna talk to some people who know their stuff!

Yesterday l picked up my brand new Southern Cross saddle.
Kizz is amazing, she fitted up the saddle perfectly l just love it, l also purchased a bridle breast plate and a saddle cloth my little girl looks amazing and the saddle is very comfortable, l couldn't ask for more, thank you so much Kizz.
