If you are a gamer in Oakland county, you HAVE to check this place out! Extension selection of games from all sorts of consoles. I love supporting this small business rather than shopping at game stop, and the selection on used games is way better. Prices are a lot better than EBay. They have n64, wii, Super Nintendo, sega, game cube, game boy games, and so much more. There are also collectibles for sale. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly and he mentioned he buys used games and consoles also.

The best customer service you can get! Employees know their stuff and have great recommendations! Went in looking for psp games and wasn’t looking for anything in particular but was pointed in the right direction because of them, I’ll definitely come back because of how helpful they were!

These guys are the real deal. I've been coming here for over a decade for collecting and trading. One thing I have always found was quality and honesty. They never pressure you into anything and are incredibly knowledgeable. Wife and I just picked up an N64 with some games and 3 controllers and everything works and looks like they were bought from the factory itself. Highly recommend these guys for anything you need from buying a new system or repairing an old one. This is true gamer paradise. With a wonderful crew to match.

A really cool store with a knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of retro games and consoles. Stopped by today and picked up a cleaned-up/refurbished Super Nintendo that looks great (which included a controller, AC adapter, and those necessary cords) and a boxed copy of Illusion of Gaia (it was really cool to see the original guidebook and map in the box as well). I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking to pick up any classics, have any questions about your own games/software, or just to go on a nostalgia trip.

I feel so lucky to have a store like toy box games so close to me. The owner is so nice and his son knows so much about games. If you're looking for that certain game check out this store. Check out the pins in the back for sure. I had some sega dreamcast games that would not play anymore, their resurfacing machine got them all working. Check the before and after pics.... unbelievable

This is the place in Oakland county if you are looking for any old school video games from N64 to game boy games they have everything!! Guys who work there are super helpful and know everything when it comes to video games. I like the new location more room and easier to find the games it seems now. Definitely the spot to go! Lots of parking available behind the building.

There's not enough stars to give this place. Anything retro gaming, any TCG you can imagine, a load of collectibles and great people. If you've driven past and haven't gone in you need to. I can almost guarantee you'll find something you will want.

Everyone there is super friendly and there is an abundance in video games and misc game stuff. If I could give more stars itd be 15/10

Family owned and local... Prices and services are A+. Owners are very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Definitely a store that prides itself on providing its customers with hand checked, quality, working merchandise every time. They go the extra mile so you don't have too. Buy with confidence here folks and you'll leave happy every time. This store has been my second home for not only gaming, but a little life advice along the way, too. I've always felt like a member of the family for the last 20 years!!

As a retro game enthusiast and full time creator I have gone to Toy Box now for longer then I can remember. For all my video game and console needs. Family owned and operated. LOCALS! who know their stuff and have a passion for repairing for refurbishing.

Really cool shop, nice selection of figures, manga consoles and games. It is actually really cool to see a GameCube again after losing mine several years ago.

Ive bought all of my old consoles here all still work better than great, majority of the games i own were bought from here, I’ve bought a good chunk of manga here, my latest poison is pokemon cards and they got me covered on that too. If you havent been here, i strongly recommend stopping by and checking it out!

Great shop! Incredible selection of new and used vintage games and consoles. They also carry all of the popular trading card games and accesories to go with it. 10/10 highly reccomend stopping here!

If you love video games, comics, or anything that relates to gaming of any kind, this is a good shop. They have most all old school consoles up for grabs at a good price too. Games upon games of every genre and system. They repair devices here too, and are super helpful and detailed about everything they do (work wise or selling wise). Not to mention at the new location they just opened, they have some arcade games setup to browse. Nice guys who run the place. Family owned which is always a plus in my books!

I had a PS3 that stopped booting up. This place fixed it, gave me the broken part like an automotive repair place, and returned my system working as good as new. The owner said that his son does the repairs. The owner's son did an excellent job. I was able to finish my PS3 saves of Skyrim. I was then later able to start and finish Red Dead 1 on this PS3 after finishing Red Dead 2 on one of my PS4's. These guys totally fixed my PS3. This store is awesome for retro gamers.
