It is a very good chess set including board quality, size and feeling, as well as very good chess pieces and accessories (double queens, high quality bag and branded pen). It is an excellent set for those that love chess. Customer attention was very good. Shipping to Mexico was possible and just in few days the package arrive to home without any issue. We fully recommend this business and the referred product!

I ordered something simple, so this can be considered a test of how reliable and fast shipping can occur. I live in the Huntsville area, and I wanted a portable USCF checkbook chess set for a business trip. I ordered it twenty minutes before the website said shipping for the day would end, and I got it the next day with the standard USPS shipping. To my surprise, I received an extra set of the magnetic chessmen to go with it.

I'm hoping to continue doing business with The House of Staunton. I can't speak to the quality of their higher end products -- yet. My only regret is that I don't think they have a public showroom. It would be great to see some of the products in person or buy them without paying for shipping for a 30 minute drive across town.

I ordered a chess table, a set of pieces and a box for the pieces. The website was not that fast but the items looked really well made. One week after I ordered, it all arrived and the actual items were even much much better than the pictures. I live halfway around the world from Alabama and I am very happy to have bought from HOS.
