Grandmaster Games - Oak Park

I love this store. It's a true shame it's not larger. They really need a bigger selection but simply don't have the room. But they have no problem special ordering whatever you want.

The staff are cool folk, and the selection here is quite good. Go in, take a look around, you'll likely find SOMETHING you'll want to pick up.

Cozy space with a great selection of sealed Magic: the Gathering products, new and older board games, and used video games. The staff is knowledgeable and there was a fun looking Commander tournament going on when I was browsing. Seems like a great place to game!

Stopped in briefly after work on 9/15 to find a birthday gift fit for a Dungeon Master who has MOSTLY everything. Staff was welcoming and able to answer my questions as they directed me to a number of options. They have an eclectic selection of D&D miniatures + a huge offering of MTG cards, which I couldn't pass up for myself (every third MTG booster was discounted.)
Also loved to see that this place hosts community gaming events for both MTG and D&D. I will definitely be back.

I go Here for Miniatures for dnd and omg. I love the place! They guy running the place is super super cool and they have a great selection of dnd and ect Miniatures. Also they have some dnd books too and model paint as well as brushes. Great store.

Huge selection of D&D/Pathfinder minis. We found a couple off the beaten path games and had fun all night.
Their shelves of retro games made me wish I knew where my N64 wandered off to.

MTG card singles selection is really good, employees are helpful. They host MTG events and drafts as well. Parking around here is honestly hit or miss. I recommend parking East of here on Madison Street on the road.

Charlie ♊ is a groovy upbeat dude that gave me a way better trade in deal for my old NES games that were losing value in storage (not being played or appreciated). The appraisal was quick and the experience was wholesome. Go here instead of GameStop to support local businesses!

Solid trade in value on video games, plus fair prices.

Got some great advice on board games to play from the gent at the shop that day, gave me 5 fairly in depth descriptions of different types of games that met my criteria. Broad variety of board games available, plus tons of table top and Magic singles. Every time has been a great experience.

2/5 selection of video games, but at least they have some
4/5 selection of individual cards, or so it seems. I don't look too closely at them, though, so your mileage may vary.

The community this place fosters is impressive. They have tables to host games and tournaments and it seems like it is always packed. Played on MtG tournament, here. Good experience. Would like to play more, but have kids.

It's great local independent owned shop. I found the retro game's I was looking for. For so long very fair prices considering how bizarre online can get selling retro game's and other retro stores like the exchange or back in the games. Got lot of interesting item's to look at definitely will be shopping here for now on

Grandmaster Games in Oak Park is run by people who are passionate about games and customer service. They have a huge selection of games of every type. They are happy to order something for you if it's not on the shelf. They run a variety of game tournaments and events. Overall it's a great store!

Amazing! I went to the gaming goat with my daughter because we are starting to paint dnd miniatures together. Not only did they have a great selection of miniatures and paint but the place had amazing customer service. I will be going back!

Stopped by during our visit to Chicago. The staff were very friendly and obviously have a passion for what they do. Their stock of singles was above average and prices are decent. You'll feel welcomed here.

Very small but very organized, expect to make new friends or find your new favorite hobby here.

Outstanding/lifesaving customer service.
Recently I had preordered an iconic masters booster box, long story short I lost my job and some more hard stuff was happening home. With little to no hope I approached them to ask if they did refunds or just gave back in store credit. To my surprise they were more than comprehensive and attended to my moment of need by giving me back the $200 of the box. One review can't express how thankful I am and how willing I will be to come back here when my situation gets better.

This is the place to go. Great service, great community, great content. Look no farther for gaming needs. I ordered a Zendikar Rising Booster Box from here instead of Amazon to support the local store. When I ordered it, I got the additional buy-a-box promo and a promo pack for free, because there was no tournaments happening, which is already great. The person running the store, Ross Hamann, was slightly late due to circumstances he couldn't control, but was very apologetic about it and brought the cards out to the car for us. Excellent service, and I am very happy to be supporting this store.
