I've got a new hobby and a new satisfying way to excersise my creative side.

To say that this place has a large variety & diverse selection of beads is an understatement!

And you cannot beat the price.
High quality/ low prices is always a winning combination!

So I walked in thinking, "Cool, I'll check out the beads and other goodies this store may have." The first think I noticed was the size of the store. When I opened the door and saw row after row of beads, I knew I would need more time to look around. The owners were very nice. They explained that the prices were wholesale with percentages off when ready to complete purchase. There were cute beads for kids, up to natural gem beads such as Jasper, Adventurine, Amethyst, and Agate. You name it and they had it. I was ready to build my jewelry on the spot with all of the beautiful beads. I definitely need to go back with an idea of what I want, as my mind flew into overdrive with possibilities.

UPDATE: So, Intrinsic Trading has moved to the Parmer and 1431 area. It feels so much bigger at their new location. I've since started my own jewelry making business and frequent them a whole lot more. Still as fantastic as always. I recommend taking photos of the beads as you buy them, as not every string has a label. Items are clearly marked if no label, and the staff are so nice and helpful. The pictures I've added include pieces I've made with their beads as well as some of the bead bins with their prices. When going in person, you will pay half the dealer price. So, if $12 is posted, you actually only pay $6.

This place has a huge selection of beads, mostly from stone or shell. There are some manufactured beads. Carved or shaped beads and beads of natural shapes abound. It was great fun to look through and pick out some for jewelry making. Prices were generally pretty reasonable.

Very friendly. Clean and staff that knows about beads. ADA wheelchair accessible. They have a class room which is nice separated from the shop which is also a plus.

What can I say about this gem. What an incredible amount of beads and great prices. The woman who helped me know where everything was even when it wasn't marked. What an insane amount of knowledge. Impressive.

OMG! The selection was amazing! Prices varied from very reasonable to exorbitant and all points in between. We spent over an hour just enjoying. Barely covered the bottom of my basket and spent $320. But I'm super pleased with my selection! The girls were very helpful!
I know where to go for all my bead needs!!!

went a couple hours ago just to see what was offered here, my first experience was amazing! quality of the beads are stunning! everything is well organized and cleaned. staff was very helpful in explaining how it worked. i am pleased with my experience & will be back soon!

Huge selection of gemstone beads. So happy they sell retail and wholesale. Much nicer than the craft stores, and no shipping fees like online. Great to have them local!

I have ordered online, but instore shopping is better. A little put off on the mandatory mask but go figure. Still gets a thumbs up from me.

I love this place and have been going since their previous location in round rock. I'm happy to see their showroom has doubled in size at this new location. They make gemstone beads accessible to crafters of every level, everything is genuine and their employees are knowledgeable about their products. And finally I love their mask requirement, I feel really safe shopping in there

The delivery was a bit slower than I thought it would be living in the same state but the beads are GORGEOUS! I actually couldn't decide what exactly I wanted but I'm beyond happy overall! Love that they are local and I'm not getting from some unknown out of country!

This place is huge! So many beads! The prices are a little higher than other places but the quality of the beads definitely justify those prices. If you are a creator and you want to upscale the quality of your pieces that you sale, this is the place to go!

This place is AMAZING. I've been going for years. Their prices are incredible. They usually do giant gem shows, so we're so lucky they're here in town. Come, look around, get ready to spend twice as long as you thought you would. Enjoy!

From now on, I am only going to shop at Intrinsic Beads for all my beads. I was just in there today & I couldn't believe how great the prices are & the quality of the beads. I had some much fun going through a bin where all the bead strands were a $1. Great place, great prices and great quality.
