Kara and the staff at this Walgreens location are by far the best team at any pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Ignore the negative Google reviews from the pampered children that frequent this place. They have yet to realize being a grown up is hard. I am a UT student as well but don't expect the world handed to me on silver platter with a brand new car I didn't earn. Kara and her team do a fantastic job and work their tails off to care for all their customers even when the customers don't appreciate them. I will fill my prescriptions here for as long as I work downtown and go to UTK.

Don't listen to the entitled college kids in these other reviews; this Walgreens is sincerely incredible. I had a major issue with a prescription that they bent over backwards to help me with. This location is always clean, and there's even parking on the strip; incredible.

I can't say enough nice things about this place, unlike the children in these other reviews that are having to deal with their parents no longer picking up their medicine for the first time.

Not only is this a Walgreens, but it's a Kroger convenience store too. Great for out of towners that need something quick to make for dinner and you don't know where grocery stores are in a college town setting.

Bums are present in the area, but isn't that anywhere you go in a city?

I'm so glad we saw this place while driving.

Walgreens needs to open more locations like this.

This Walgreens has the friendliest staff! No postcards but plenty of Tennessee University gear. Easy to walk to from the convention center or campus

This place is ideal for a pedestrians, specifically UT and Fort Sanders people. The prices are a little high, but you are paying for convenience. I've always had great, friendly service when I go here. Good luck with parking though.

Unfriendly pharmacy workers. Misinformed me of my prescriptions pick up location after telling them I had the right location. Made me wait for far too long after confirming that I was indeed at the correct location. Overall frustrating experience.

BEWARE OF CAMERA ON 18TH STREET. The cashier was obviously not crazy about his job and it showed. I really expect at least a little customer service from employees when I'm buying $35 worth of stuff. But the worst part of my trip is that I ran in for 10 or 15 minutes on a Saturday morning and came out to find a $16 ticket (no games or other UT events going on). There is a camera on the back corner of the store fixed on 18th street and Cumberland. How did the city know I parked there so quickly so someone could rush over and give me a ticket? Is Walgreens working with the police department? I was in the wrong, admittedly but innocently, but I won't be going back to any Walgreens since they can't offer a safe place for their customers to park.

This store is very conveniently located. Also, there is a good selection of goods for the area. However, this particular store is smaller and there is less of a selection when compared to most Walgreen's stores that I have been to. It also seems that prices are a little bit higher at this Walgreen's.
