As one of my grandmother, mother and I’s all-time favorite shopping chains, my mom and I enjoyed spending time browsing for collectibles! Talbots offers authentic and gorgeous attire (e.g., jewelry, handbags, etc) for all sizes and ages. I’ve always admired their accentuation of natural beauty. Garden City Center’s Talbots has tons of space and merchandise for selecting your new favorite pieces.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Nancy, who was patient and kind.

Talbots is a classic ladies clothing which I always love to stop by. Even though its styles have changed in recent years, the quality continues to be excellent. The sales associate who assisted me today was very helpful, professional and gracious. I wish I had her name but she was exceptional and courteous in servicing me. She is an asset to Talbots and will refer my friends to see her when shopping.

I see the bad reviews from 10 months/1 year ago and I would agree that’s exactly how the store was for a few years... I stopped shopping there for those reasons.
I went in January 2020 and it was completely different - very much the Talbots I remember, with polite, attentive, and helpful workers.
Remodeling the interior including getting rid of the last batch of saleswomen who were awful.

This store has quality clothing. The sale going on is 15% to60%. Any thing that is marked red add an additional 60% and new stock not mark has a 15% markdowns. I love pastels. So I could of spent more. I love the new jeans. Looks very similar to Skinny Jeans by B. Frankel. Only you get to try them on in the store.

Excellent experience. Staff was very helpful and showed me a couple of items I'd skipped over.
Good product especially when on sale.

The wife went in and came out with 3 outfits. Less than two hundred and she looks great.
Then she gets home and actually has 9 outfits. All Talbots

Quality clothes, true to fit, pleasant saleswoman reminds me of an old fashioned deptment store,. I buy most of my clothes here due to fit, style, and frequent new inventory.

Talbots is my favorite place to shop. The clothes are gorgeous, fit well and are reasonably priced. The staff at the Garden City store are terrific. LOVE this place!

Went in to return 2 items that were online ordered. Found a gorgeous long dress for a great price!

Definitely my store. Never come out empty handed. Big sale this weekend. I'll be there.
