Good place for fuel

I stopped because I needed gas and I loved the country view.

The toilet is noisy and doesn't flush well. The men's room is permanently locked. The man at the counter told me the wings were plain, so I ordered some. He didn't wash his hands before pulling the package of frozen wings from the freezer. As I waited for the wings, I looked for something to go with them and he told me twice to sit down to wait. Some other people were checking out. The teenage daughter told her dad, "Don't forget my chips." The man behind the counter said, "Those are my chips!" He ate peanuts before handling customers without cleaning his hands. He didn't actually hand me my change. His condiments are packets from restaurants like Burger King.

The store does have three nice employees (Ashley, Peggy and Sonny), but there is one who is rude and unhelpful (I don't know his name, but he is the only other Indian guy there other than Sonny). Regretfully, this guy is there more than anyone, which ruins the whole atmosphere of the place. I have to repeat myself 3 or 4 times every time I talk to him, and then he complains "I don't understand your slang" as if it is my fault that he doesn't understand English. When we call to order a pizza for our workers, he takes twice as long as other employees to get it ready. He also turns off the oven, even during lunch on a Saturday, adding to the wait time (for the oven to warm up). This happens so often that recently, before ordering, I asked "Hi, is the oven on?" He said "I don't understand what you are saying"...I repeated each word slowly again...he replied "I don't know what you are saying". Four times I asked and 4 times he said "I don't know what you are saying." Finally, I walked over to the oven, pointed at it and said "Is the oven on?" Unbelievably, he said "I told you the oven is off!", which he actually never said. It's just ridiculous....people where there in the store, and they all laughed at him.

Also, the gas pumps at this place are broken more often than any other gas station I've ever used. One is extremely slow as well...I estimate it pumps at around 1 gallon per minute, so a 30 gallon fill up can take a half an hour! I have literally sat there and waited 35 minutes to fill my tank! I've reported this to this guy many times over the last year, and every time he smirks and says "we are getting it fixed" but nothing changes.

I've heard others complain about this employee too. I think the owner of Roscoe General Store really needs to hire someone else, as this person is costing the business money through lost customers.

We have started going to Crossroads Convenience store instead, even though it is twice as far. Ricky over there is super nice.

I think Ali is freaking useless. Worst convenience store clerk I've ever seen. While in the store, I've watched him ignore the phone, and let it ring and ring and ring. On another day I drove by and he was outside cleaning his blue car, leaving the phone and shop unattended.
Ali's terrible service ruins the place. One star until they get rid of him.

Indian guy with glasses and a moustache is a total jerk. Rude, obnoxious, and not very smart. Every time I talk to him, I have to repeat myself 5 times. Ordered 2 pizzas...15 minutes later I show up and he hadn't even gotten them out of the freezer or turned on the oven yet, even after I ask him to put them in while standing in front of him. Right now a customer is asking him "you having a bad day?" because he's being so mean to him. Always looking at or talking on his phone, like it the most important thing in the world...customers don't matter. The owner should fire him, but likely won't because he is a relative. Its freaking nuts. There is a younger Indian guy who is really really nice, very helpful and always happy, but he's not there all the time. Its a shame that the moustached jerk ruins the place, because otherwise it would be a great country store.

0 customer service! They never have gas and when they do they make sure all of it runs out before they get more! Making people buy what they have! Their food is old and taste horrible not one drink cooler is cold so if you want a cold beverage you are out of luck! If you have a question about a product get ready to feel stupid for asking them! The worst customer service and it's not just one employee it's all of them!
