Dollar General

I like Dollar General stores because there is one almost anywhere you go. However, I feel, because I go frequently to DG stores, they need more employees so someone can be putting up stock almost all of the time in.order for shelves to be properly stocked. Many times I've been to my local DG store and shelves were practically empty but there were carts all over the store full of products that needed to be put on them and even in the coolers for items like Milk, Ice Cream, etc, that shouldn't be left out for any length of time and I must say that on more than 2 occasions I've gotten spoiled cooler products and I feel it's due to it sitting too long before employees had a chance to put them away. Dollar General stores are a wonderful chain of stores, and they fulfill a very much needed service to just about every community in our state of Georgia. From what I've observed myself most, if not all of the stores not only can use another person to help fill the needs of the store, but the needs and wants of their customers. After all, is it not the customer who keeps each store in business? I, and many others will most likely keep going to our local DG, but for how long. Also, the coolers in our local store have had issues to the point they are shut down and have been for several weeks, like 6 or 8 at least. Just saying. Paul

Everyone there was extremely helpful. I ran in for a quick grab of items and they couldn't be helpful enough to show me where they were and even opened up a 2nd lane at the cashier's when I arrived there and there was a line. I was impressed.

If I had to choose between all General Dollar Highway 212 in Monticello outshines the rest ice is so willing to help you find stuff take you out and get you back on the road quit bottom line employees to workers that stands out I'm not going to say no mames call John a white vehicle don't we sign language but that lady will show me the different ways so now you know

It is a convenient place to get simple staple items. The staff is friendly. The store is clean. The parking is ample.

Page was absolutely wonderful best waitress we've ever had I would highly recommend this place to everybody in town and out of towners

DOLLAR GENERAL IS A STORE IN TO WHICH IVE LEARNED WHERE EVERYTHING IS IN THE STORE..THE DOLLAR ISLE IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE..IT HAS EVERYTHING ON THIS ISLE, A VARIETY OF MANY THINGS.

Close to home. Store is well stocked and employees helpful in finding things.
