Transitional Design helped with the dispersal of vintage and antique pieces of my mother's treasures as she downsized from her home of 55 years. Transactions were smooth, and well documented. They also provided the moving service to take her household goods from her home to her new apartment. Their estimating team was thorough, polite and considerate of my mother. Their moving team was personable, professional and attentive to my mother's needs. We recommend them to anyone! Oh, and don't miss their retail shop!

The staff is very professional; introducing themselves to the client, being careful with the client's possessions, and working diligently to finish the job in a timely manner.

Great selection of refurbished furniture and other items, and they have a terrific online auction system as well. It's also easy to set up deliveries with them.

This is a great place to shop for all kinds of things. I enjoy the auctions as well as the showroom. It’s a weekly turnover so there’s new stuff all the time.!

I tried the online auction for the first time. I won the item I wanted at a good price which was great! However, it was large and too heavy for my husband and I to unload from a U Haul and get up into our house. We used the delivery service and got quite a surprise when we were charged for quite a few additional services besides the $140 per hour for the movers!
I am editing my original review to say that a really great person reached out to me and made things right with the extra charges. I truly appreciate that! It shows they care care about their customers.

After recently moving my Mother into a Senior Community, we used Transitional Design to clear out her condo in preparation to sell. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff - kind, courteous and very hard working. They completely packed, loaded and transported all of the items to sell, donate or dispose - leaving her place empty and clean within hours. We could have showed it the same afternoon! They made a very overwhelming task, stress free and organized. I would HIGHLY recommend this Company and plan to use them again for future projects at my own house. Transitional Design is a beautiful store! The prices were so good that I could barely zip my suitcase with all of my purchases. As I walked through the store I just kept saying "Wow!". I really loved their themed Christmas trees, and took so many inspiration pictures for my own home. They have a huge selection of women's, furniture, and home décor. The auction area was so impressive and I wish I lived closer to attend one of their painting workshops. I hope to visit again someday!

Great auction house to pick up deals on used items.

I’ve been shopping at online auctions for five years and this is, by far, my fav. Honest—if they say it’s excellent, it is. If not, they’ll tell you what’s wrong. Organized and clean w help loading on Wednesday pick ups.
The store connected to the auction house is a huge benefit. I normally shop there when I go to pick up my winnings. Nice & safe merchandise, especially upholstery, as they’re certified cleaners. You might pay more than other nearby auction houses but nobody beats their quality.

I used them when I helped my mom downsize. The young guys that came to move everything (including taking items to their auction site and items for donation) made it SO EASY. They worked extremely quickly and carefully, were very pleasant and respectful during what has been a difficult time. I couldn't believe how easy they made the transition, completing it all in one day with almost no effort on my part. A truly amazing experience - I can't recommend them enough for helping seniors downsize!

The amount of positive feedback that I hear on a daily basis from customers who visit this store is simply amazing. The services they provide, specifically to the elderly and those who wish to downsize, but feel overwhelmed by the task, are so helpful and much needed in today's society. The staff is always so courteous and helpful and the showroom is like no other resale shop in the Northeast Ohio area. Upscale and beautifully decorated, with ever-changing inventory. You'll always find something unique, whether it's in the store or on one of their incredible online auctions. Five stars!!

Very helpful people! They spent enough time with us so that we could understand the auction process. They have a lot of different things on auction, not to mention a large resale shop. They have delivery service available for lager items.

Excellent resale furniture store with quality items. We found this store in 2019. Since that time we’ve purchased 2 Louis XV bergere chairs, a Louis XVI desk and a Louis XV cabinet server (yes I like French pieces). The prices are fabulous, staff is friendly and their inventory is constantly getting refreshed. This is a gem we will continue to frequent.

I really enjoy shopping here for clothes, they have great furniture but I think if them as a clothes plus place. They also move some products so it's a place you can visit every few months and they will have new options for you. My only less pleasant note is that there is a bit of the La La Rue and I'm not a fan. Otherwise great clothes, accessories, jewelry and great prices! They have pieces for $10 - $100.

Great staff! Very inviting when you walk in. So organized and beautifully displayed merchandise. Whether you are there to shop or look at upcoming auction stuff they are right there to help. Ps ...it's 1/2 price on holiday merchandise right now!!!!

Transitional Design is a fabulous place, we have used all aspects of this business from Design services to auctions and have had nothing but wonderful customer service and well priced clean products. They are honest, helpful and talented people. The merchandise in the store is always beautifully displayed and tasteful. It is so fun to go in around the holidays as the store just gets you in the mood to decorate!

Love this retail establishment! It is stocked with unique, classy and practical merchandise, priced very reasonably and realistically. Every week there is new inventory, which will entice you to keep coming back. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nancy Sheeler, CEO, whose years of experience with downsizing, moving and, her specialty, assisting the elderly, is beyond compare. Her kindness and thoughtfulness is remarkable.
