ALDI

This Aldi had been my least favorite for a while. The manager was rude to me and I felt like every time I went she was catching attitude with someone new. But today I went because it was on my way to work and I left surprised. I met this guy named Matt who was super friendly and very aware of his surroundings. I had a basket full of stuff and the people behind me had 3-4 things. He politely asked if he could take them before checking me out and I gladly said yes. I didn’t realize they had barely anything, and I would of much preferred them to have gone before me. Then while bagging I accidentally dropped my oil on the floor and he quickly left his register (btw he was the only one checking ppl out) and ran to get a broom and dust pan. He picked up as much as he could to assure we didn’t get hurt and ran back to check people out. After checking one person out he ran to get a replacement oil for the one I dropped to bring it back to me. Still no one came to help him or help check people out. He was juggling all of this and with a great attitude while his manager and other employees were in the gossip. I was also with my husband and he couldn’t believe what he was experiencing. There’s still very great people on this earth. Thank you Matt for you kindness today.

First, I have recently returned to Memphis. I tried the Walmart in the area, and I was Not impressed. I Usually Love Walmart for delivery, But Aldi’s in my area is Amazing (Instacart). I have ordered from Aldi’s several times and every order was exceptional, and each delivery guy has been wonderful. I decided to order delivery just this morning about 9am. I could not believe that they said my order would be delivered by 11:30. I was Amazed to get a text that the order was on its way at 10:20!!! All I can say is I Looooove Aldi’s Instacart delivery!!! Thank You for Your service. My delivery guy was Esteban this time🙏🏽💜

I visit this store once a week since pandemic. I like the smaller footprint but they have everything I need, even a fun aisle with things I did not know I needed 😂. Leaving review today because Essence is one of the best cashiers ever!!! I come from a grocery store family and she does everything Right. She was the only cashier this afternoon and store was busy. All allocated carts were in use. The line was down the aisle and by the time I went around the corner to get in line, it was already shortened in 1/2. I assumed they opened another lane but nope! All Essence doing a fantastically efficient job! She did extra things like taking my bag and loading as she scanned being careful to scan heavy items first. I had almost 20 items and I don't think the entire transaction was more than a minute. Just awesome!!! Give that woman a raise!

Closest Aldi near my home so naturally I go here. I think they need more help at this location because the lines are always long but it’s not the workers fault that’s a corporate and pandemic issue. Nevertheless, they’re always stocking items, cleaning, and cashiering as quickly and efficiently as they can. Matt is the best and fastest to check you out! If he’s there I always jump in his line! He’s like the Flash of the register and no, nothing is damaged.

This is an excellent German grocery store. The prices are quite reasonable, with fresh fruits & fresh & frozen vegetables, meat deserts, frozen pizza and chocolates and more..

Decent selection and great prices. I’d shop here exclusively if there was one nearby. There’s one being built 45 minutes away. Can’t wait!

Wide selection of affordable products. I'm able to stock my fridge, freezer and pantry for around a $100 tops. If you're on a budget, this is a great resource. Just make sure to have a quarter with you for the cart and your own grocery bags. They do have reusable bags for sale for under a dollar if you happen to forget

Great prices and great products

I love shopping at Aldi. Great prices and great selections. The produce here is very fresh. Only shop here if you are comfortable buying items that are not name-brand. Be sure to bring a bag for your shopping and a quarter to get a cart.

Staff is bare bones and the line to check out will always take a couple of minutes.

Well stocked. Ignore the temptation to get the beer. It's not worth it. Can find a drinkable wine though. Always ample dairy and produce. Absolutely packed to the gills at all times. Be prepared to wait to check out. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Great prices n quality food! Love the crunchy mini cucumbers at $2.99 a bag n the European chocolate bars at $2.99 each n also a dozen eggs at $1.19. Fresh vegetables n packed very attractively. U will always find new stuff brought in every visit!

In these days of inflation, Aldi is a great place to shop. The only way that I know for sure, was the price of eggs and milk, not to mention butter. You can still stretch your money at Aldi.

At the time of my first visit, I misunderstood the Concept of Aldi's. I thought that paying a quarter to rent a basket was absurd. My first mistake was that I didn't understand that I would get my quarter back when I returned it. Second misconception was the thought that someone would bag my groceries, however I was informed that I could purchase brown paper bags or costlier, but truly handier cloth reusable bags. When I realized that I did in fact get my basket quarter back, I realized when arriving home that in my hast that developed a negative view of Aldi's. I decided that I had to give it another try. Armed with their ad, I had the weekly deals that were available and they truly great deals, and a quarter for the refundable basket rental. I started my second adventure. This time things went mush smoother and my attitude was much improved. I found out that while shopping that you could easily find boxes to load your items which saved time at checkout, loading purchases, and carrying them inside upon arrival. The third and possibly the most negative feeling that is I had In mind was the fact that he they did not accept credit cards. CASH ONLY.
Thankfully they have amended their policy to accept credit cards, so I most amend my previous review and give it 5 stars now because I have been converted and am now a regular Aldi customer sipping there at least twice a week and the savings are undeniable.

Aldi is my favorite place to grocery shop. I literally save about half of my grocery budget by shopping here and always try and fill my list here first. I don't mind renting a cart or bagging my groceries if it means cheaper prices, quicker checkout, etc. And the quality is great! Not to mention how fun the aisle of shame is to peruse. If you haven't tried it, you should!

One of my favorite location of Aldi's, It's always clean and well stocked. They have great deals on a variety of items. They also have different seasonal items through out the year. Bring a Quarter for a shopping cart and bring your reusable shopping bags for your purchases.
