They answered the phone for me quickly when I called and resolved my issue for me with speed, ease, and professionalism. Always appreciate the pharmacy staff who take time to interact with my kids and make us feel like family! Could not be happier with my experience…won’t go anywhere else as long as I’m in the area.

I WAS WRONG BOOKING OUT 5 DAYS
Got my 1st Covid vaccine there. They do not book your second appointment so when I went in to try and book it. their all full. Not only do I have to find another place for my 2nd vaccine I have to make sure it's Pfizer. Everyone else is booking the 2nd appointment. Unacceptable!!!!

Since Walgreens took over the Rite Aid in Gardner, MA, the pharmacy seems chronically understaffed and takes way longer than they say they will. If they say they need "just five to ten minutes" there is a pretty good chance if you come back in half an hour, it still won't be ready.

A retail chain that doesn't adequately staff its stores is clearly more interested in squeezing every possible dollar out of it, even when it means poor customer service and high staff turn over. In a pharmacy, where small mistakes can cause serious harm, overworking your staff shows reckless disregard for customer safety.

Aside from that, the store is nice. Clean, well stocked, etc. But if you get prescriptions, don't expect them to be ready on time, and double check they've gotten it right.

Pharmacy is terrible but the front end where you'd purchase anything else from the store is good. The pharmacy is the only problem with the store. Rite-Aid was better

I don't normally leave reviews but felt this one was necessary. I went in December 18th for a flu vaccine. I told the pharmacy tech I am here for a flu vaccine. She handed me the paperwork to fill out. On the paperwork, I had to include which vaccine I wanted so I documented that I wanted the flu vaccine. To make this long story short, she gave me the Covid vaccine. The Walgreens Pharmacist employee gave me the WRONG vaccine. Therefore, be careful when you go get a vaccine. Verbally make it clear before they administer - even though that's their job - and ask to see the vaccine vile so you know you are getting the correct vaccine.

If we could select no stars we would! Most rude, slow, and incompetent pharmacy we’ve ever dealt with. We have even given this place more than one chance thinking they were just having a bad day. Takes forever to fill the smallest prescription if they even have it in stock. Supply issues at this location are awful. They tell you it’s everywhere, yet the CVS we switched to in Fitchburg always has what we need. No urgency even if it’s meds prescribed after a child’s surgery. Everyone working in the pharmacy at this location is always miserable and beyond rude!!! Instead of being helpful they make everything 10X more difficult and into a scenario that it didn’t need to be.

After a recent physical, my doctor sent in several prescriptions to this pharmacy. I received a voicemail from them saying that the only one which was time-sensitive had to be special ordered, and would arrive in a a few days. Three days passed, and I never received an update. On the fourth day, I called them back, and I was told that someone would look into it and get back to me.

After two more days of non-contact, and none of the ordered medications showing up on their website, I called them again to ask for for the status. I was told that my insurance info was out of date, which was why they didn't show up on the website, and that they hadn't actually ordered the one I needed urgently. They also told me that my co-pay would be over $500, because it was a name brand. When I asked them to just give me the generic, they laughed and told me that they wouldn't do that without a new prescription. On top of that, they claimed never to have received one of the other prescriptions. They had no answer for why they hadn't contacted me about my insurance.

I only used a local pharmacy in the first place because I needed the medication right away, and now it has been longer than mail delivery would have taken, and I'm back at square one. Mistakes happen, but being laughed at while being denied a crucial medication is truly beyond the pale. I will never, ever use this branch again, and I'm questioning whether I should use Walgreens at all in the future.

Pharmacy tech Kayla very rude had an attitude when dealing with customers. I have been trying to have medicatio fill/transfered since Jan 10 2023. I called again today and get the excuse she is to busy to to do her j I band hung up on 3 times.

Sad to say I’m switching to CVS. My script is never ready and half the time they don’t have enough to fill it.

The young girl at the register in the pharmacy is in a bad mood every time I go. Maybe she hates her job so she’s awful to customers. Who knows.?? She told me they had 400 other orders in front of mine. Like it was no big deal and I didn’t need my meds. Mine was the second half of what they couldn’t fill three days before. So it should have been ready.

Store is clean and large and front end staff is nice. Don’t waste your time at the pharmacy I miss RITE-AID

I agree with most of the reviews on here, Everytime I go there I have only received friendly customer service ONCE from the pharmacy employees. If you can't smile or act friendly to your customers then go home because this is the biggest reason I never return to places like this. i am editing this because the front store and it's employees are great! It's very unfortunate for them to get the bad ratings when it's the pharmacy customer service that is bringing them down. Once again today I went in and got the same terrible customer service as always. Congratulations at losing another customer!

I do not recommend getting a Covid test here. I only booked here because all the CVS’s near me were booked up. It’s been over 72 hours and I still don’t have my results. The only explanation at this point, is that they must have lost my test, bc my husband got tested at the same time and had his results within 28 hours. I also specifically needed a test done within 72 hours to cross the Canada border. What an absolute joke.

Pharmacy customer service terrible. Pharmacist assistant (?) didn’t bother reading online reservation info to see why I was there and assumed I wanted Covid vax - sent me home to get my CDC card for no reason. No apology for wasting my time. Not going back.

Used to really love Rite Aid but ever since it became Walgreens I’ve had nothing but problems. THREE times in a row my prescription has been out of stock and they expected me to wait 3 to 5 DAYS for it to be filled. That’s simply INHUMANE!! I tried to give them a chance to sort themselves out, but then they screwed up a fourth time. I’m taking my business elsewhere. Don’t waste your time or give them your money.

Have had an issue with almost every prescription we’ve filled here since they switched to walgreens. Most of the staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and takes no accountability for prescription refills they’ve messed up. There must be a serious problem with this company since the pharmacy switch from rite aid to walgreens has been a nightmare despite being years in the making. Just save yourself the headache and get prescriptions somewhere else.

Ever since Walgreens took over I have had nothing but problems. From waiting in like for over 45 mins to get a rx that was ready the day before, to them "losing" or "not recieving" the ex from my Dr. This is by far the WORST pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I'll be switching pharmacies after today.
