Dollar General

I use to work in Cedar Bluff, but now, much further away. I'm rarely in the area, but I was on 12.12.23 for an appointment. I'm not a huge fan of Dollar General, as a matter of fact, I leave many of them calling them "Squalor General.:" Most are dirty, jam packed with boxes to be unpacked (not the employees' faults...I spent my time working for 2 different locations during Covid...the business model is chaotic). Anyway, I use to stop by this DG off and on, and it was a mess. I was expecting that again when I walked in yesterday. I was more than shocked when I found the place in great, clean order. It was much more comfortable shopping than before (and many I visit). On the way out, I was fortunate enough to meet Hailey and Miracle, very kind employees that seemed to actually take pride in their work and in the state of their place of their employment. I highly complimented them on what I saw, and I shared I knew first hand the challenges of keeping a store neat, clean and organized. They were very appreciative, and I appreciative the kind conversation we had for a few minutes. I wanted to complete a survey on the receipt, but I failed to get that piece of paper. So, I hope the powers that be read this, and I hope they, as well as the public who visits this DG, will show their own appreciation for the hard work and hard workers at this location.

Let me just say that I've not been a fan of inexpensive stores. I have told myself that everything in the stores, must be junk. I was wrong! This store has items like shoe polish, mascara as well as Doritos, yes the name brand lol. The store is organized and tidy. The staff has always been helpful and pleasant. And yes, their prices are pretty awesome! Thanks Dollar General

Lots of good deals especially on laundry detergent. They always have great digital coupons! I bought 52 items and with paper coupons and digital coupons I paid $10.09! This DG is kind of dark and gloomy but hey they have nice cashiers and good deals. What more can I say

I had a wonderful experience yesterday. I was in line & the sweet little couple in front of me didn't have quite enough to pay for their purchase. The cashier on duty then & myself both put in & (only $4.37) to help them out. It's a blessing to see the how wonderful the lady behind the counter stepped up to be so giving when we take them for granted so often & they endure so much criticism and mean comments from others. I commend DG for having that angel behind the counter. God bless you

I love the store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing that i would say is maybe hire a couple more cashiers...and use 3 of the registers to have a quicker turnover and your customers dont have to stand waiting on one cashier to do them all. Its not worth waiting for some people. Some cahiers also get anxious and concerned of them having to wait on her
The little woman manager there, she has brownish blonde hair, usually in a ponytail...she is helpful and funny and cares about customer satisfaction

It's the dollar store. What more could you ask for? For all things regularly consumed and wanted by humans, they have our needs. For around a cheap price, and getting there is a breeze. The Dollar Store's are a great place to get what you need that may not be too pricey. It's smaller than Kroger, bigger than Save-A-Lot, and have all the things you want from sweet and spicy.
K I'm done, dollar store is great for minimal shopping.

A young man named Ryan checked me out and was very careful not to make the bags too heavy for me . I had explained that l had my shoulder replaced and have a 8 to 10 lb.. limit on that arm. He was very courteous to a 73 year old woman.

Absolutely loved this dollar general store they are now closed for remodeling but i really enjoyed shopping there. Store cld have been a little neater & more tidy. It wasnt terrible tho like most these days. Friendly & very helpful staff.. Great place to stop & shop.😍💯✔❤

This is like my micro vaca spot in the hills. If the hills have eyes maybe. Sometimes you can catch me out back curled up between the humming powed box and the wall behind it not the first one but the second. StephencTrail left me derilict and broke and is keeping me this way with me nearly dead now im upset he wont put nothing back in my life after robbing me.

I love Dollar General they are like a part of the past. They feel like small town stores with discount prices. The employees are always helpful.

Courteous at entrance with a Hello, Checkout, very couteous with a How are you. Both CSR respectively wearing face covering. Clean well stocked store. Will visit again in the future.

I really like the convenience of the Dollar Store. I can walk in, get what i need and be on my way home with in minutes. Always have shelves well stocked. Friendly Atmosphere

Love it been 2 a lot of Dollar General Stores BUT NEVER 1 LIKE THAT 1 THEY DON'T HAVE THAT SIZE STORE IN N.Y. CAN'T WAIT 2 GET BACK
