I picked up a couple transformer comics on a whim and if I lived in the area I'd be back for more. Thanks for being friendly and welcoming.

I was going for a jog and a white funky looking, I want to convertible dropped a little black note book. And I snuck in and it has some amazing ideas. I won't share them. They sound like a gold mine.

They have a great selection of back backstock titles, as well as current titles, and they even have an RPG game selection, as well as novelties and some other things. They’re more than happy to spend a long time talking to you about your likes and dislikes, but they’re also happy to just talk to you even if you don’t buy anything, which is refreshing. They’re always happy to order something for you, too, at no extra cost, if they don’t happen to have it in stock, or don’t usually carry it. Very highly recommended, very good service, and they treat all patrons with dignity, even we geek girls. Definitely no harassment here unlike some places.

Been coming here since I was a kid, still one of my favorite shops. Great staff, good selection, everyone who works there has a strong familiarity with current comics. Go to haven!!

Great Free Comic Book Day! Small shop but great selection.

You know how in every episode of cheers when anyone would walk through the door, they were instantly greeted by all inside and felt like coming home? That is what this place is, true they might not know everyone's name, but they welcome every customer in as if they had just seen you yesterday. Browsing the long boxes I am constantly struck by the customer service they provide from greybeard collectors to kids looking for their first comic book. The staff here hold no judgement or quarrel with readers tastes and preferences as folks seek out their destined stories, and they serve as as a guide to helping you find it. Haven is truly a phenomenal place where one can find themselves in the search for the of America's truest contribution to literature, the comic book! Do yourselves a favor and check them out.

Haven is a great community for comic book lovers of all ages. The Haven comics crew are like a family. A bunch of awesome people who love comics. You'll notice a neat surprise when you walk into the shop. The shop itself is like it's own living comic character if you think about it.

What can I say except your welcome? Welcome to the greatest comic shop in all of Alabama. The comics are great and the prices are right, but the people are the best. When you walk in, you know you’ve hit the jackpot Tiger. No Parker luck here. Just a high quality fortress of solitude for all nerds. May God bless Haven and may the force prosper.

SO FOR REAL! WHY GO TO ANY OTHER COMIC SHOP!! This is THE best comic shop in Huntsville and surrounding areas. The owner is sooper dooper and treats everyone with care and appreciation. He never rude or mean to customers unlike other shops. Great place for new comic book readers, kids, or veteran collectors/readers. Seriously can't recommend this shop enough. The owner also loves Impossible Man (Look up that comic book character) and he hosts a pretty great Live video podcast with comic book creators on Youtube and facebook live with a guy who is bald. They are quite the entertainment every Thursday night!

GREAT local comic book store. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable not only with current comics but also older titles. I have never had a bad experience while shopping here and the store is very kid friendly. It is always a nice stop for the family to make when we are out on a Sat.

(2018) It's not big but the prices are really great! My friend and I really enjoy there. The people there are nice and really know their comics and upcoming ones! I would recommend it and coming again.

My favorite comic shop by far. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The owner is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and always goes well above and beyond. I’ve been going to Haven off and on for 3 years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

I've really enjoyed my interactions with the staff here. They've been incredibly helpful and met every expectation that I've had. Product offering is good, especially for a smaller shop. I would really encourage everyone to support your local comic shops and check it out if you have not already!

I really enjoy when I can get by there which is not as much as I want. I was very put-off by the other two comic shops in town. One being gigantic and not caring at all about you ....and the prices were just stupid. The other was not ideal either. I will only go to Haven now. The staff are really nice and the new location is awesome. Small is sometimes better, they know you and make you feel like an old friend, not just a consumer.

Far too often a comic shop can make you feel like an outsider, but this is a great store with a friendly atmosphere. I had been away from comics for decades but Josh and Justin welcomed me and helped me in finding a pull list I wanted and enjoy. They have quickly become two friends I love to visit every Wednesday.

Not just a cool store, they also have a live Quiz Show which is a lot of fun! It's on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM (on YouTube & FB Live), but if you can't catch it then, do what I do & watch the next day. It's turned out be the highlight of my Fridays the last few months.

Not a better place to buy comics anywhere in North Alabama. The owner, Josh, is great and their customer service is incredible. If you're an avid comic book fan, then get a box and you'll get a nice discount as well!

Haven Comics is an awesome comic book store! Very friendly folks who love to help you find what you’re looking for! A real gem of a comic book store convenient to Madison and Huntsville. Highly recommend!

Well informed staff, issue boxes for those upcoming comics you don't want to miss. Reminds me of the shops I visited when I was a kid. No frills but everything you could ask for from a comic shop. It's well hidden behind a strip of stores at 1871 Slaughter, very easy to overlook. But don't of you need a fix of nostalgia or to treat your kids to the same experience you enjoyed as a child with comics.
