Bristol General Store

This country store/gas station actually sells some of the best homemade sushi rolls I have had in all of Texas. They were reasonably priced. The hamburgers were made to order and the onion rings were crispy and sweet. You can eat inside or on shaded outdoor tables.

What a delightful surprise!!! We stopped here for a quick bite while out looking at Bluebonnets. Full menu of Asian dishes including some of the best sushi I’ve eaten!! Everything is made fresh! You need to try it!

Fantastic spot! Thought it was only for sushi but ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Orange Chicken pictured here. Veggies are all super fresh and the meat is top quality. Well-seasoned and not too salty like most Asian restaurants!

Where to begin.... this isn’t your usual run of the mill corner store/gas station. Inside this quiet little place resides some of the best sushi in North Texas. The sushi is simple, nothing too fancy or over the top. Yet it’s amazing how delectable it truly is. The shrimp tempura roll was so good especially with the sauce that’s carefully drizzled over top. The Bristol roll was by far the best in my opinion. Sadly I was paying attention to the green sauce in the box, it was amazing with the last piece of sushi. It definitely is off the beaten path but I will say this is, it was completely worth the drive out to experience this culinary work.

Such a clean gas station. They have plenty of drinks and snacks but they also have restaurant food to order. The burgers looked amazing but we got sushi and it was great! They also have beer now!

I was very skeptical about eating sushi at a gas station, but it was nothing how I imagined. It was bomb freaking sushi! Ingredients are fresh, prices are reasonable, and very kind staff. I was surprised that it was a decent amount of salmon in the roll. Highly recommend this stop.

This place is AMAZING. Top level sushi! I also had the homemade apple pie today and goodness! YUM!

Bristol General Store is under new ownership. Not only is the food wonderful the new owners are amazing, caring and compassionate! While picking up our dinner at the store I also needed a bag of ice which they were out of and were expecting a delivery the next day. I shared my story that the ice was a temporary fix ( while our gel packs where not frozen yet) to ice my husbands knees who had returned home that day from double knee surgery. Not only did they empty ice from their freezer for us they, also provided us several frozen ice packs! These are good people in my book! I will never forget this act of kindness.

Yeah really. Great atmosphere great sushi - I should qualify that statement I’m not an adventurous sushi eater or an expert on sushi … but this was really good IMO. Kitschy yes but solid food.

Great little store for those items you might run out of before your shopping trip. Fried veggie roll sushi is great. Great team of people.

Under new ownership but still selling good sushi rolls. Staff were friendly and asked how they could improve their food offerings. Very open to suggestions.

Best kept secret!!! Definitely worth the drive to a town that you never knew you needed to visit! The sushi rolls are fantastic! We tried the crab lava, volcano, son of Philadelphia, and crunchy shrimp tempura rolls.
