Dollar General

The store was clean and well stocked. However, be sure to pay with cash. Otherwise, there's a 3% extra charge for using a credit or debit card if you get cash back. EBT cards are okay though for all acceptable food items and no tax is added.

For a Dollar General this is by far the biggest and best I have ever shopped! Friendly staff and great selection of everything from food to socks to light bulbs . Even appliance bulbs. Highly recommend them.

They are super friendly. The store smelt better then most we have gone into. They are well stocked. Will be using them regularly now :)

I go here on a reg. They are always nice and helpful. Wish we had a Dg market that carried more stuff but im thankful that they usually have what im looking for but they dont carry much winter supplies like lamp oil or candles

I can't ever remember her name but we call her Short Stuff!(bc she's so tiny..lol) She's so sweet beautiful and always puts a smile on my husband and my face! She works her tiny fingers to the Bone! She's been there almost every day for the last two weeks without a day off or so it seems bc I go in there 2 maybe 3 times a day and she's always there. She needs a raise for her dedication and customer service!!! Although at times she seems to get easily distracted. But regardless she works very hard and always fixes any little mistake she might make with a smile on her face! Let me reword that...She seems to be a little more nervous than distracted bc sometimes she's the only one up there working and the line gets backed up so bad she can't really walk away to find help but she tries her best to get everyone out the door as fast as possible and yes mistakes do happen sometimes. (To everyone) Anyways I just thought I'd give some feedback for the Soddy Daisy location. (Soddy side by the lake)& I hope her managers see this and give her the acknowledgement she deserves! I swore I would never step a foot back into a Dollar General since the one closest to Daisy treated me so badly, (and I hadn't for many years. I meant what I said when I said it to the manager's face), but one night I had to visit this one closer to the lake, and the staff were so nice and respectful as opposed to the hardened personas at the older store. Although I still prefer Family Dollar and have been loyal to them the past 10yrs, This particular DG, I at least will shop at.

I live nearby and always go to this one , always great service , when you call asking if they have a certain thing they are on it really quick and are very helpful !

The employees at this location are so polite and always wanting to help. They go out of their way to make every visit as easy as possible.

Never been a fan of Dollar General. However, this particular one was clean,neat,and organized and the manager was great and genuine!
