Great China Food Market

I have greatly enjoyed their freshly made baked buns and pastries. I've tried out the menus at almost all the bakeries and donut shops in Memphis throughout 2021-2022. Hands down my favorite fresh daily pastries and breads come from Great China Market.

They have Hong Kong Egg Tarts (my favorite item), Egg Custard Bun, Coconut Cocktail Bun, Shredded Coconut with Cream Bun, Pineapple bun, Red Bean Bun, Sesame Balls with Lotus seed paste, BBQ pork baked bun, scallions with creamed corn and raisins buns (tasty), hot dog buns, pork floss bun, and a few other items I don't know what to call.

They have some items with pounded rice with filling in the middle. One with veggies and quail egg. Sometimes they have steamed pork and egg buns. They have roast duck and pork belly and BBQ pork as well.

They have some cups of puddings that are interesting. Some with rice and beans and coconut. One with a vanilla and subtle caramel taste to it. They also have a lot of imported packaged goods and drinks.

They have a sizeable selection of vegetables and fruits as well.

The hot fresh barbeque pork buns r real delicious! Varieties of asian products here. Bought a pkt of longan drinks..

Bought my favourites..Egg tarts n bread n snacks n a few stems of lucky bamboo to replace some of mine that turned yellow...n not to forget the fresh BBQ char sew n roast pork too!

A great place to shop...ingredients you may not can find at larger Asian markets. Nice selection of roasted meats and fresh baked goods.

I fell in love with their Cherry blossom theme plate/bowl set! If you looking for kawaii dinnerware this is the place. They also have a variety of other cooking essentials located on the far left side of the store.

We recently just moved into the area and found this market. It has a little bit of everything and so I'm very happy that it's within driving distance to me. They have a very small deli inside the store as well. We bough the sesame ball and they were very good.

My wife and I both enjoy shopping at this market everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly. My wife is an amazingly excellent cook and she's very pleased with all the wonderful things that we find there from food to fabulous cooking utensils. We hope to be long-lasting customers. You walk in the door and you will be greeted with a very friendly and warm and true welcome.

What a great selection and everything reasonably priced! Baked goods, oven items, produce, seafood items & more. Definately leave with more than you came in for!

Stopped in to buy from a wide variety of authentic hot pot seasonings. From spicy hot pot base, to mushroom and non-spicy Sichuan and more.

Found my favorite straw broom! Friendly staff.

First time visiting. The yound man at the counter was very helpful. So many good itwms ro choose deom and I don't think I got through it all. Oh, and the hot pastries were fantastic! Plenty of fresh vegetablea and frozen good too!

I have been shopping here for years, the nice people who work here are always helpful. They bake some awesome breads, and buns. Also have fresh vegetables and herbs!!! Their
prices are the best too. A Great place, to find that needed ingredients for that special meal.

Had a good time with the Smyth's out in our field ministry on last Saturday. We spent 2 hrs. with them.

I would describe this store as an All-Asian experience. They have products from just about every country in Asia. Love going there to stock up on dried noodles, teas, sushi rice, and a couple of my favorites dagashi and Asian bread, fresh made red bean paste buns. You can also find fresh, frozen or canned groceries, fish and seafood. A good source for most Asian cooking.

Pay cash or credit/ATM. Know what you're looking for or ask the attendant for some help, either way you're sure to find what you're looking for.

Amazing selection! Much less expensive than buying things on Amazon

I love coming here for all of my Asian dishes. They have all of the exclusive ramen that you could ever think of. They also have fresh veggies and any seasoning or sauce that you would need.

Don't expect English, but go in, get what you want (they got like everything you could want here for real Chinese food) and pay. Pretty simple. Be warned though, they have food hidden around the corner right of the counter and a whole restaurant supply area if you need anything 'Asian' for a party or to fill in culinary gaps in your kitchen. Prices are incredible, by the way.

We always go to this Asian market to buy our good. They sell most of the things that we use to shop for back home in Hawaii. Plus they also have a restaurant in Bartlett as well. Fantastic food all around!

I love this small market. I can find any ingredient I am looking for any asian recipe I am trying out. Plus they have a great gift area I always find to much treasure when I shop here.
