Longtime family grocer located in what has become a tough part of town. Very friendly staff. They have a little of everything, with prices being competitive with the big box grocer. The butcher shop is well worth the trip. Bought some ribeye steaks… cut to my desired thickness. Calculated out to $19.70 per pound. Also picked up a “Super-Sub’ for $7.99 - was delicious and very filling. Big selection of homemade sausages… maybe next time.

Great neighborhood grocery since the 1930s. Really high quality meats & fish in the deli. Local restaurants order their meat here. You can't be in a hurry when you order at the deli case. It's quite popular

My first visit was a couple of weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend and I was blown away by how good the t-bone steaks were when I cooked them on the grill that night. Outstanding marbling and the taste was out of this world. Since returned and bought pork chops and they were also excellent

Went there for my first time today. Needed some steaks before the snow storm. So I decided to stop by. The store is clean, organized and the butcher area is awesome. I ordered 1.5 inch sirloin steaks and the butcher did the order in front of me, great quality steak. I also ordered ribeye, all prime. Only downfall at the moment, they didn’t have skirt steak. Very fresh meats, you can tell by the color, texture & smell. I will be returning for sure. Also forgot to mention, their customer service is their best product. I got EXACTLY what I ordered, in a friendly, professional and organized manner.

I came here to buy a nice juicy prime rib for my birthday dinner and was so glad that I did. I paid about $36 for a 1.32 pound steak and it was worth every cent. Quality meat, excellent service.

1st time there today. Got some fresh cut Ribeyes, brats and Polish sausage. Easily the best steak I've ever had, great marbling and super fresh. Will become my new meat spot for sure.

Best colossal shrimp in Lake county!! They are frozen, however when cooked they taste like mini lobsters! Best fresh cream herring, Best Prime Rib!! They have an awesome selection of meats, sausage, fish! Also sell wine and groceries

This Store has the absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The butcher,Jeff really cares about his customers and it shows! I would definitely shop here again for meat. Excellent deli / meat department.

What an unexpected treat! This was my first time at the place, and I was immediately impressed by how it looks in there, and then by the meat selection and By the Fantastic sub sandwich I brought home. I will be back before they close at 6:30 tonight, to pick up one of those prime rib eye cuts.

My opinion is, they have the best meat in Lake County. It's fresh meat cut at the size you request. The best meat you can ever taste. Good for holiday cooking or special occasions.

Great Brats and Thick cut chops !! Since I moved away 10yrs ago I can't find a neighborhood anything like Cribb Fine Foods. I will have to make a trip back to stock up.

Cribb is Waukegan Institution my grandparents shopped here. Love this store will always shop here for meat. The package deals are great. The meat quality is unsurpassed .

Cribbs is ,and ALWAYS has been old school and MAGNIFICENT.....the sandwiches are made FRESH,the steaks are cut FOR YOU....you will not find better meat,or better service, anywhere!
