This place may be known for their antiques, but they have a freezer full of food that are amazing if you prefer not to cook for an evening? Étouffée is so good "highly recommend" and their select sausage is perfect for anytime of the day. The owners are friendly and will purchase your antique(s)? Kevin is a chef and a very good cook. Zeina and customer vouched for the homemade tamales as they are delicious. Don't forget to reserve your Thurducken or Turkey.

Okay, the thing to understand about this gem is that this place is owned by diehard champion OGs. They’ve been here nearly 30 years and have had their business all but ruined by big chains, namely: Walgreens. For residents looking to spend local, let’s go! This amazing place has it all. If they don’t have it they’ll order it in for you so it’s there as a convenience the next time. Walking in i was welcomed with a warm hello and the smell of something heavenly wafting towards me from the back of the store where the owner was busy chopping onions. I felt like I’d just come in from a storm. Comforted and eased in to all the store had to offer. This mom and pop is one of a kind and worth the community’s attention. I’ve been used to living in heavily populated areas, as well as small ghost towns. The sweetest thing about Champion Mart is that it’s right off of FM 1960 [just behind that monster Walgreens] and you’ll be treated just as kindly as you are. Meaning don’t go in there and act a fool. Seriously, these are hard working people who have evolved the store to stay alive, they certainly have my respect. Keep your judgments to yourself. Have a talk with whomever is working when you go in. You’ll forget the big hard city and feel down home within moments. And when I say they do it all, friends… catering that includes crawfish boils, fried turkey during the season. a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, eggs, milk, little necessities, antiques from area estate sales with prices that’ll knock your socks off. China, sausage, mirrors [with antique/antique-looking garish frames that are sooooo in right now]. What’s not to love for a corner store? I’ll be back soon and hope y’all will give this amazing local business some of your time.

I went for the antiques. It has an eclectic mix of things and it takes a bit of time to take it all in. I enjoyed my shopping there and picked up a few unusual items. On another note, I also bought 2 of their breakfast tacos and they were delicious! The lady working today was very nice and helpful and made my experience a lot of fun.

Don't waste your time coming here. Owner said they are opened until 5pm. I drove 1 hour in traffic, arriving at 3:30PM and the female owner "stepped out". The husband was there but explained that he has no business decision making powers. Total disrespect for other people's time. Don't waste your time coming to this place or trying to do business with them. Shameful and disrespectful.

I've been in here quite a few times. Bought a few trinkets.
I was coming in today to look for some cups and teapot to go with this little ash tray set i bought there. I asked the man if i could use the restroom and he said we dont have one and i know they do because I've used it before.
Well he lost my business over that lil lie....
