St James General Store

It’s a smaller market. Has a little bit of everything. Sometimes they run out, because it ‘sa ways out of town to get stuff. Ain’t no complaints at all about this quaint little grocery store at the beginning of the world ;)

Great little store for odds and ends, and has great staff. There is a young lady who works there that really went above and beyond to be kind to impatient customers even though it is not her fault the card reader is slow.

I'm just thinking about moving to saint James City. And I want to find out all I can about it.

I am no relative to anyone associated with this store. My family simply has lived close by the store for over 30 years. This store is about convience, southern charm, vintage feel and family. The general store offers a wide variety of misc. types of items at EXTREMELY realistic and reasonable prices! Now sometimes they don't have everything you may need but hey...I find that's true at even the grocery stores sometimes too. For as long as I can remember we have always used this store for everything we could and that's been over! WHO wants to drive 5 miles or more? Besides I LOVE the fact I can walk in and the girls all know my name and ask me how my kids are. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Because of this place I never had to leave the island and I loved it! Miss you Jess! I know it's an old thing but make them Sammies fat like they used to be! Maybe I'll make it back for a visit one day. Bobby Chips out!

Love St. James General Store. It's great for a quick stop when you're out of something and the big stores are closed. Everyone there is always friendly and helpful.

The beer is ice cold and the staff is amazing that was wotking today. Sam and Theresa thank you for your awesome customer service.
