Tony the store manager must have one heck of an employee training program!
Immediately as a customer walk’s in the door they are very politely greeted by any employee that has s encountered. Even while shopping amongst the rows of the store, if an employee is working the shelves, they always greet and offer help to the customers walking by.
This type of attitude always comes from the “top down” in any business!!
The Pharmacy!
Wow, wow, WOW, I cannot speak any higher about these employees!!!
Not only do they greet you with an extremely positive attitude and smile, they exude a caring and heart felt honesty about one’s medical and pharmaceutical situation.
Often times, hen a question arises of the information in one computer, they will go to another computer to try and figure out the situation. Then, if that does not work, they will consult with one another to figure out whe situation, and most every time they get the job done.
On top of all this, they are just darn out-right wonderful ladies! There are a few good men in the mix too. Lol
I unhesitatingly, recommend CVS store#
538-2416, on Marina Bay Drive, in League City Texas, 77573, as it is a pure joy to walk into EVERY-TIME!!!

I must admit, I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. However, after reading each review, I suspect the pharmacy staff wasn’t the problem. It appears the individual customer or their insurance plan was the problem, not the staff. I have used this pharmacy for 18 years and each time I am amazed at how organized and professional they are in spite of the large number of phone calls, walk ins and people lined up at the drive thru window. It is a shame that insurance and corporate policies have forced pharmacies to function more like a fast food restaurant than an essential medical service. Sure their have been times I’ve had to wait on a refill but most of the time either myself, my doctor or my insurance was at fault. Sometimes while waiting on a prescription I just watch in amazement how many different people, with different personalities and different medical conditions they have to deal with. Recently I counted 17 customers in a 20 minute time frame. Between the drive up window, walk ins and phone calls a total of 17 people all needing insurance explications, last minute refills or to speak with the pharmacist. Not once did the staff demonstrate anything but empathy and a positive attitude. Yet every day they are forced to deal with pay cuts, longer working hours and customers that think their needs are more Important. Customers that like to think they merely had a simple “request” and can’t see past themselves to realize they had demands. Demands that they should be dealt with first and foremost. Not stopping to think that the person on the phone or in line behind them might be dealing with a progressive debilitating disease or in a rush to get home to take care of a sick spouse or family member. I applaud the staff at the South Shore CVS in League City and simply want to thank them for their hard work and commitment. And on behalf of my neighbors and fellow customers, please accept our apologies for not being more appreciative and understanding of what you have to deal with everyday. THANK YOU!

I've been going to this location for over 10 years. I've used the Pharmacy to pick up several prescriptions every month for years. They have been great through insurance changes and they have always been friendly. I'm surprised they have any bad reviews.

i’ve been using this pharmacy for over 2 decades. The current pharmacist has issues. Everytime i talk to her she asks me for the names of each prescription and corrects me when i mispronounce the prescription name. She places her quiz between me and filling my scripts even after I call to verify that the ‘scripts are ready. I went into the store one day to learn more about glucose monitors and when i asked her which aisle they were in she slammed her hand on top of the metal cabinet as if to scold me for not looking at her. She has a corrosive personality and one of her aides came to my rescue to help answer my questions about the different monitor types and what my insurance would cover. I am very disappointed in the hiring management in not emphasizing the importance of customer service and empathy for patients who are reliant on the experience and expertise of a pharmacy to help them with the variety of health challenges that they have to address. Adding a ‘mentally’ unstable pharmacist with a corrosive relationship with CVS customers must be addressed immediately for the good for CVS, their customers and especially for the pharmacist herself. She seems to be knowledgeable about her craft but her lack of empathy for patient care is demoralizing to people who need the most help. Thank you and take care. NASA Systems Engineer

I have never dealt with a worse CVS locating than this one. Their waits are long and their staff definitely isn’t friendly, compared to other locations I’ve used and called in the area. They never seem to have any dosages of medications, compared to when I check other CVS locations. They definitely need to do better.

The pharmacy is a joke. On numerous of times they have tried to give me medication that was not prescribe to me that was meant for someone else. They always send you text messages or tell you over the phone that your prescription is ready, but when you get there, it’s not ready and you have to wait sometime days.
The female pharmacist with the long black hair is the most rudest unprofessional person I’ve ever ran across. While I was standing there, there was two ladies walked up to me and informed me that they was having the same type a response from her as she was given to me
She literally told me after 17 years of doing business that she was transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.
They have lost a 17 year cash paying customer!!!

HORRIBLE Service with a pharmacist that is not professional whatsoever!.. If you are a provider and looking to call in meds do not call this place save your time and go to a pharmacy that actually values you and shows respect in a professional manner. This guy was a joke. He literally was yelling at me not understanding what I was saying. I call meds in all the time and have had issues with this pharmacy for a while. I will not recommend my patients to CVS Pharmacy on Marina Bay. This will sound funny but he sounded like "Madea" I hate to say this but I could not believe I was speaking to the pharmacist.
