First of all let me just say that my cabinets by Period Design Company exceed my expectations!

When my husband I and I decided to build we knew we knew we wanted to go with the colonial style design. While we were only building a carriage house to live in temporarily until we built our main house. We wanted it to feel as much as home as possible and I knew that began with the kitchen. I started my search online I searched by colonial style cabinets and I found the Period Design Company. I reached out to Jeremy and the process began. We were 6 hours away from each other so the main communication was by texting. He did a Fantastic Job seeing my vision and putting it into action. I went out on a limb with the color yellow and I could not be happier with the color. My kitchen feels like home and it is "my place" while I am at home. The look, the feel and the craftsmanship truly make our home feel like we have stepped back in time.

I will be contacting Jeremey to design the kitchen, the vanities and our built ins when it is time for us to build our main house. I am could not be any more excited for when that time comes!!!!

Jeremy did a fantastic job on our period kitchen cabinets. They fit so well in our colonial home and are truly unique! We were so pleased with the quality of his work, and his prompt communications with us, that we commissioned him to build several pieces of furniture for other rooms in our house. And these pieces are definitely the jewels in these rooms.

Jeremy is great. I worked with him on a kitchen design for a 224 year old house. It was easy to demonstrate the idea of what I was looking for in terms of a restoration design versus just a renovation for the kitchen. Jeremy was quick to bring this information to fruition in the designs and work with me during the process getting all the little details in place. He has a great knowledge of these types of styles which are not common at the present time and was able make recommendations to assist in bringing it to the final ideas. The whole process was a joy to work with him and he was very patient while we searched for a plaster craftsman to plaster the walls in the old styles. Recently, we contracted Period Designs to create a bathroom vanity and linen cabinet for our home on Cape Cod. We wanted each piece to fit in with the Early American decor and 'theme' of our home. It came out great!
Jeremy's attention to detail is unsurpassed; the soft closures, the right amount of 'distressed' outlines, the high quality choice of wood.
He really listened to us and worked hard to understand what we wanted.
He also went the extra mile to finish painting the cabinetry pieces so we could transport them to Cape Cod. We love it!

Jeremy created such beautiful cabinets and countertops for my kitchen that I became a repeat customer and asked him to make two additional built-in closets, which he customized perfectly to my 1853 home. Jeremy built me a real nice set of book shelves for my front room. They are super nice and built to my exact specifications. I'm extremely happy with how they turned out and they really look good in my living room.
