Go to Hell, MI

Small but fantastic! We stopped here on the Ice Cream Tour 2024. It was our second stop. The atmosphere was very fun and the shop was small but full of really cool stuff and the ice cream was very tasty. Not a ton of choices, but a nice variety, very good flavor, and cold enough to frost the cups immediately!

My first time coming to Hell and it was great. Jean was friendly and awesome. The selection of shirts and other merchandise was cool. They have all size shirts from small to over 4xl

Always a treat to visit Hell and even though there isn't really anything left of the incorporated community, it's fun and a good way to spend time with family and friends. The gift shop has to be the best part of the town and it draws people in from all over. It is definitely worth the money to keep a small but historical part of Michigan.

Bathrooms are in the building to the east of the parking lot.
Employees are pretty great.
Get the ice cream and be prepared to take 30-60 minutes going through the putt putt. We were literally the only ones playing & it took us forever to get through the course.

It was MARVELOUS & stop at the small store by the restaurant & visit HELL Michigan, take some exciting photos by the playground & the lake & ride a few streets for some views it's a FUNTASTIC day trip & a nice ride getting there

Hell is a must stop. Spent over an hour and could have stayed longer. Plenty to see. Owner was very informative and gave us a look inside the wedding chapel.

It's kitsch and I love it! Great prices for cute souvenirs. The store sells ice cream that's delicious, a very well done sherbert. The lock bridge is very sweet. And if you go done part the bridge you can see a pretty waterfall. The bathroom was a 3, it was a signal room which is nice but it needs work.

I've been wanting to enjoy ice cream here for the longest time and finally was able to.
The ice creme was great and they have every hell souvenir known to mankind. Bring your wallet.

A nice stop over on the way to wherever. Very picturesque area, considering it's hell. Lots of cheezy souvenirs and a few activities. Really nice customer service too. Super friendly.
Just a short detour if you are going between Detroit and Chicago.

Cool place to visit, we found a locks of love gate and we added a lock! It was my 1st time in Hell!

Went to HE// on MY BIRTHDAY & got Kicked OUT !!! Jokingly told my friends after back to work. Cool area.
Loved seeing A Cemetery, Hell sign, Church Street (to Hell) with a church.
TOO FUNNY!!! Enjoyed our weekend in the area.

My fiancé and I went on a random adventure to Hell one day. It was great! We played mini golf, browsed the awesome gift shop, and had some yummy ice cream! Afterwards, while we were browsing the library attached to the building, the owner of the establishment was kind enough to introduce himself to us and tell us some history of the town and himself. Very nice fella!

We had a great time in Hell, can’t wait to come back!

Cute roadside stop. No cost at all to walk around and visit. Nice ice cream shop and gift shop with all kinds of Hell memorabilia. Miniature golf here too. Many many photo opportunities. Enjoy your time in HELL!!

And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the devil himself, keeping a watchful eye over his domain (or at least, a guy dressed up as him for the tourist photo ops).

I’ve been to Hell & back! It’s a great place to stop by. Weather you are there to pick up a few souvenirs, go uptown for lunch at the BBQ restaurant or downtown to the local bar. Don’t miss out, you could be the next major of Hell.

Real eclectic place. Purchased Mayor of Hell for my beau. He was sworn in in front of a packed Screams. Lanyard, get out of Hell free cards , Tshirt ,coffee cup and a couple assorted gifts and jokey stuff later ...he was thrilled, had a great time. Love the hokey jokes they have all over. Live music , playing Highway to Hell in big band way😂..it's too much! Had a blast, ate ice cream, took plenty of pictures!After visiting their little town, with my highlight being the ACTUAL scattering garden. You too can have your ashed scattered in Hell, free of charge!!😳. They impeached him at end of visit !
Place is great for destination and a couple of hours of fun!

Stopped in this roadside gift shop in HELL! Cups, tee shirts and stickers, etc for sale, with lots of puns! We shot a little putt-putt on the old and degrading course for fun and took a few photos. The best part was mailing postcards from hell. Some cute personal touches were added that topped of the whole experience! If you're near, add it to your stops! It was silly fun! Maybe treat yourself to an ice cream from Hell!

Small town with a few restaurants and a shop. Overall a cool quick stop in Michigan. Different things to walk through and see. Lots of parking available and no waits to get into any of the buildings.

Definitely worth a day trip to visit this fun town. Great food and generous drinks!
