Dollar general

We have 6 Dollar General's within 10 miles. We choose to go to Dollar General, Dobbin area on 105.
Why? Because we get a cashier! They are usually quite friendly and check you out quickly rather than go to others with a line of people TRYING to use the self check out. We have walked out of other stores as the line at self check out long and no cashier available. This store is clean and well stocked.

Closest store for the simple necessities. I discovered that they even stock Birdseye frozen veggies. They only thing that they should add is Bluebell!

You know what, I haven't been here, but I'm going to leave a review so hopefully people will see this and understand things. I used to work at a Dollar General, in Conroe in fact.

Keep in mind that the people here are getting paid pretty much nothing, with little to no benefits, to do the job of several people at once. When I was working for them, I was the cashier, greeter, stocker for the front half of the store, and pretty much responsible for any customer complaints or issues that didn't need the manager. Yeah stocking stuff is everywhere, because we have to finish as fast as possible and have to do many things at once. It takes the entire day just to DO anything cause you're getting pulled in many directions at once.

I'm not excusing all Dollar Generals, I know there's bad ones out there, but I just want you to realize that working conditions in Dollar General are NOT good, so keep in mind that the people working there have to deal with a lot every day they work.

The people that work here are super helpful and friendly! The prices are way better than the 2 "convenient" stores on either side! Would absolutely recommend you stop in!

Great staff, always helpful and friendly, clean store, well stocked. The clearance section is always good.

I like this one. It's quiet, not busy, The manager is really sweet.

By far this is the cleanest DG around here and I have been to alot of them
