Love this store and so grateful to have these options in Beaumont. Their bakery & deli products are always excellent and love the soaps too! Thanks for providing our community with healthy options.

This store a fantastic! The staff is very knowlegable about the supplements and so helpful with any questions. The selection and quality of the products they carry is outstanding!

Basic Foods is amazing. They have much needed products to ensure the community gets healthy and whole items. Also, they support diversity, including promoting black owned businesses and products. I support anyone who supports diversity

Great place considering Beaumont has no Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Smaller but has a good variety of organic foods and snacks. I have a preservative allergy and frequent this place often rather than make the drive to Houston.

Lots of organic and vegan options, plus a good sized bulk dry goods section with healthy nuts and grains. Great selection of kombuchas, yogurts and Kefirs. The dairy seems to all be grass fed and humanely raised in pastures. Large frozen foods section. Lots of healthy chemical free options for health and beauty products.

Just be sure to read the labels. It's hard to find products that are not full of industrial waste byproducts, but Basic Foods has a good selection of chemical free products. So what if they cost a little more than the chemical products, it's worth it. We vote with our money and I am happy to pay a little extra to vote for a cleaner environment and body.

I think some reviewers are missing the point of this store. Open up your Maps and find me the nearest Whole Foods… We don’t have one out here. So if you need a specialty ingredient or have a very clean diet, you can find some really amazing products here. You can order some things online and get a different price, or you can go in person and get it instantly. Because of that, you’re going to pay for that convenience of having it right there. I love to hit up their homeopathy section when I go here. Other benefits of this store: It’s clean. No long lines. Things are located where they are supposed to be. You can look at many items and enjoy the experience without constantly being in someone’s way.

I do love unsweetened soy milk, blegh, I know.
BUT they do not carry it, for I do not know why.
I do think they're a bit pricier than competitor prices, but I also don't mind, undoubtedly because they stand for the epitamy of all greater causes and good that you can learn and experience for your self and benefit lots a logically good reason

I love the beyond burgers, and they carry great vegan options, as well as not, and Kosher products as well.

My little not so secret favorite store, but it's an hour away from my house, haha.

Prices here are a bit steep but you get what you pay for. Staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable about their wide variety of merchandise. My only true gripe about this establishment is the only grass fed ribeye steak I saw there were frozen. I could never quite wrap my mind around why.

My timing tends to be bad. It seems the powers that be are having a round table when I’m there. That tends to take their best people off the floor. I don’t like interrupting. If I insist, they always oblige. Great supplement section. Excellent selection of frozen breads, including what appears to be the full Ezekiel line. Grass fed beef & chicken that tastes as good as it used to— because they sell “Yard Birds,” not cage birds. Locally Owned. That means you get truthful, unbiased answers.

They have a great selection of different foods. Clean food, organic food, and others. If you're into those kinds of foods, definitely stop by here and check them out!!

My favorite place to shop for gluten-free and meatless grocery items. Great selection with the most gluten-free items outside of Houston. Although, I recently went to Whole Foods in Houston, and I was very disappointed. They seemed to have a smaller selection of specifically GF, and did not have the grab-and-go gluten-free foods that Basic Foods has.

If you show your gym membership card, you get 10% off, and they run specials quite often. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. Miguel is always ready to answer questions, get customer feedback, or look into ordering what you want or need.

Aside from gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan groceries, they also have nut-free, dairy-free, raw, living, and paleo diet items, as well as supplements, natural/organic health and beauty supplies, and books on all of the above. Great place to shop!

Always plenty of gluten free choices. Fresh baked goods are excellant. The sandwiches are great. Store is always clean with enough checkers! Yeah

The one place I go when I am in SETX. All the organics I need. and the largest raw section I have ever seen (even better than Austins health food stores)
