Just finished shopping here and I am very happy to locate the proper size shoes (only one pair left) - Sara went the extra mile to look for them. She is very helpful and nice with all customers. I appreciate it :)

For a sporting goods store this store has a lot to offer, and the prices are good and people are nice. They pretty much have what you need for sports activities. Might not be the best brand name but it will do.

The sales people were very helpful. Their knowledge was very complete. They helped me despite many questions without getting irritated or bothered. My experience here was excellent.

Lots of selections no matter what sport you enjoy. If you just need a pair of comfy shoes, this is the place to go.

I am going to Hawaii tomorrow and almost forgot to get snorkeling gear. I found some for $19.00 and got 3 total for myself and some friends. They have various prices, but you can def find them Here before flying out. You can never go wrong with their prices and various items. I’ve purchased some hiking boots from here, roller blades, roller skates, work out gear and discounted t shirts. Keep out for coupons or discounts because they are real.

Big 5 has some of the best prices on work boots and athletic shoes. Store is clean and employees are helpful.

This is one of my favorite stores. The prices are good, and the service is great. My most recent visit we were shopping for a cot, and Clayton was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. He was aware of an additional style in the backroom and brought it out for us to see. He even set the cots up in the aisle so we could see them fully and decide on the one that was right for us.

Great shop. Has what you need when you need it. Store Manager Erick is very helpful and accommodating.

They had a hard to find item I needed, and the young lady working that day was super helpful to us, if fact with two items.

There was a one day sale and I needed help finding where it was in the store. There were plenty in stock which was nice because I wanted them as stocking stuffers! It was possibly the manager that helped me when I walked in the door. Extremely helpful and pleasant. Got me what I needed and answered more questions! The lady in the shoe department also was extremely helpful as was the lady at checkout. I have always found this store neat and well stocked and everyone helpful and pleasant! I appreciate getting emails because I frequently find something on sale that I need or forward to someone else that may need something on sale. It's not necessarily sports related. Maybe Sleeping bags for indoors, Winter clothing, slippers, etc.

Lots of exercise equipment here, I ended up buying a mini bicycle exerciser and it was missing the timer, I brought it back and the return process was super easy. Also the employees seek you out while your shopping to help you find what your looking for. Great customer service and kindness throughout both visits.

Recently went here to buy a gun for the first time in CA. Based on my experience back east vs. what I've heard about the CA process I wasn't sure what to expect. It was overall a great experience. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Did the whole safety cert, purchase and background process right there. Definitely have run across a lot of gun shops where I've seen the staff being pretty rude to new gun owners or just people who weren't knowledgeable, these guys are definitely not like that. They are very personable to both experienced and new gun owners. Also, decent prices on ammo, will definitely be back for more when I run out!

Great service and excellent customer service.

Even though they have a great selection of shoes, they stopped carrying my brand of shoes. I still purchased a pair of shoes. I like the sales they have, good deals on shoes. Went to buy fishing weights, slim selection. They are keeping up with the fishing gear and accessories.

Employee who works in the shoes, great person. Helped me get my size and a bit after came to check if they fit or if I need another size. Super helpful. He needs a raise. Got leather work boots for $29.99. Great price.

Went there for black Friday at like 5:20 AM and was immensely blown away with the organization and level of customer service I received. They had everything out nice and neat and there were people there asking if you needed any help. I must have been asked about 3 or 4 times while I was there by different employees. They were just on top of their stuff! I really like Big 5 and I had never been to this one but it's the one that I will definitely be going back to!

Big five is my go to for certain baseball equipment since it’s reasonable. I was disappointed they didn’t have line up sheets but I’m sure they are in demand right now. Very helpful sales associates
