AT&T Store

I had called customer service numerous times to cancel service due to a death. I continually received the same response. "We can not help you, you will need to go into a service center". I went to the Athens Alabama services center only to be told " you will have to call a service representative". I was continuously deferred to another representative. It was very clear, that AT&T did not want me to cancel the service or was willing to assist. Frustrated, I went into the AT&T center in Madison. I explained the issue to AT&T Representative STEPHANIE PARKER. Within 15 minutes, Stephanie addressed my issue and the service was cancelled. Thank you, Stephanie!!! YOU ROCK and assisted when everyone else would!!

I was here to post a review about my lovely experience the other day I had in the Madison store and just happened to read some other reviews referencing an encounter with the manager, Griffin. Let me just say this - I was present for this interaction, and these “reviews” could not be further from the truth. From my perspective, 6 feet or so away, it seemed to me that the manager and his associate were trying to accommodate the customers request, but when told the process they would need to complete the request, they became irate, loud, and downright rude - even someone yelling through speakerphone. They ganged up on these employees and even threatened the their job on their way out. My granddaughter currently works in retail at Ulta, so it makes me sensitive to matters like these, especially if she has to deal with entitled customers like this on a daily basis. All this to say, I had a great experience with the manager and his associates. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the Madison AT&T store.

Griffin Gunter, has to be one of the best employees I’ve dealt with at an AT&T.
My boyfriend’s business account had been hacked, and was all messed up and he took the time to not only fix everything, but make sure the proper channels were taken to fix the fraudulent charges!
After all was said and done he got us upgraded to the new iPhone 15 Pro max!!!

The team here as a whole is great! They are welcoming, professional, and polite.

Fantasia was fantastic. We added a line and upgraded mine in like 30 minutes. She was very pleasant and extrmeemly knowledgeable.

For reference, we did the bring your own device for one line and fiber internet access.

Great service! They were able to help us in the store and still honor online only promotions. It was so easy and Naly was so transparent about all charges and ways to save us money. Very friendly! Just such a positive experience! Definitely recommend this store.

We have always used the Madison store because we had such a bad experience at Athens. Madison store has great customer service and I am so thankful we had Alphonso T helping us.

Made an on line order to pick up in store. The employees had my order ready within 30 min. When I arrived I was greeted within seconds. Stephanie was very accommodating and set up my phone and watch. Very friendly and fast service. Greatly appreciated each of you at the store. Thank you so much.

It's been quite a while since I came to your store but I had a bad experience at the AT&T store in Athens Al while trying to return a phone that I wasn't happy with and was told that if I didn't like the phone I could bring it back within a week or so (can't remember the exact time now but I was within the time frame). Athens would not return because they said they do not stock the phone(that I bought from them). I called the Madison store and they called the Athens store and tried to convince them to return it for me because they were obligated to and also so I would not have to drive all the way to Madison. The Madison representative was named Josh. He was awesome. Longer story short I did have to drive to Madison but it was well worth it. The customer service was like comparing night and day. I would happily drive to Madison rather than deal with the Athens store. They actually stock more phones too. You won't have to wait to receive a phone to see if you like it. Thanks Josh

Chico was exceptional today! He helped me trade in a device, upgrade, and order a new device while also changing my service plan. He informed me of every change and how it would affect my bill, as I was on a plan that was grandfathered in before unlimited was a thing. He was engaged, thorough, and just a nice conversationalist in general! Great customer service, and a great person too I'm sure!

Extremely helpful and patient. I was the first appointment, and Steffany was very patient as we set up my new service. She very clearly explained everything to me and walked me through what I needed to do. Very positive experience!

Thank you to both Jere and Aaron for spotting a problem with my account and giving me the solution to correct it. I loved the time, explanations, friendliness, music, atmosphere.... Needless to say, I enjoyed my time IN store. This is the reason WHY customer service is so important. When a company's representative helps you to feel welcome/heard, customers WANT to stay put. Thanks again for finding the problem. You guys were and are great!!!

The employee that helped my mom and I was absolutely incredible. Stevie worked with us for hours, thoroughly going over all of our options and helping us to set up everything we needed. She was obviously very well-informed and translated that info. to us very well. She was amazingly kind and a pleasure to interact with. Hands down the best AT&T employee we've ever worked with over the course of our nearly 20 years of business with them.

I have been having the worst time since I signed up with att. I have spent hours days in a row on the phone with customer care and visited another store in Florence but no one could help me until I came to the store in Madison. I was there maybe 30 mins and wasn't sure at 1st how it would go but a very friendly and helpful gentleman that must've been a manager came over and clicked a lot of buttons on his tablet and got my bill down to the amount that I was promised in the 1st place. I am so grateful for his help! I suggest going to this store in Madison for all of your att needs :)
