Tom's did an awesome job. Installed running boards, 3.5 inch lift kit and custom exhaust. Very reasonably priced and professional service.

We had a great experience with Tom’s 4x4. My wife and I wanted to lift our GMC Yukon. Matt was very helpful throughout the entire process helping to ensure we were getting what we had in mind. I Have an old Cherokee xj that used to be my dads and really wanted a specific look for it . Well, toms 4x4 did an amazing job bringing the family jeep back to life!!! Matt suggested the perfect set of tires to go for the lift I wanted and I haven’t been this excited for a vehicle in a long time! Excellent professional work in a timely fashion!

They did a great job doing a Body mount relocation on my 2021 Toyota Tacoma. Welds were clean and they painted over it, and I haven’t had any issues out of it and now have plenty of tire clearance!

Worked with Matt and Tyler for what was almost a year before I ever pulled the trigger to lift my 18 Tacoma. The guys gave me numerous quotes, as I kept changing my mind. I finally installed a 3in lift and replaced the notorious needle bearing. There was a minor hiccup, and Tyler was quick to call offer suggestions and ask my input. Installation was painless. I wish I would've done it sooner. I couldn't be happier with the outcome!!!!

I brought my Tacoma here to have an Apex swaybar disconnect installed. Price was fair and workmanship was excellent - this is a rare part with a difficult install process and my truck is highly custom. They were able to take care of things no problem, with a few custom modifications to make it all professionally fit my truck. I will be bringing my truck back here for more work in the future, thank you!

The did an excellent job on helping my wife and I select accessories, lift kit and tires. They allowed my wife to look at their personal vehicles and try climbing in and out of them for reference. They were very patient as we went back and forth on our choices and pricing it numerous was. We are very happy with the finished product and are enjoying the vehicle.

This is the fourth time I have used Tom’s 4x4 to put on wheels, tires and a lift. They are always spot on! This time I brought them an escalade. They had never worked on one before. Matt made a few calls to make sure it could be done and not sacrifice the ride! It is awesome!!! It turned out exactly like I wanted.

We needed to get our beloved Jeep fixed and Tom’s 4x4 got us in fast in and out. Quality work. I can recommend his shop with a clear conscious. No more Jeep dealerships. We will be back for more needed work.

Start to finish it was an excellent experience. I had a ton of questions and concerns as I’ve never had a vehicle lifted before. Matt was always quick to respond and never seemed bothered at all to take the time to answer my questions. Some trim work needed to be done to the factor parts and I couldn’t even tell a difference it was so clean. Thanks for everything I’ll definitely be back.

New to the area, sought out a reputable 4x4 shop. Met Matt one evening right before closing and after discussing gears for my gladiator on 38s, made the appointment. Totally satisfied. They always accommodate my crazy schedule for me to drop off our vehicles, to the best of their ability. With Tom’s 4x4 I know it’ll be done once and done correctly. I’ve had custom as well as bolt on work done by their different techs and can say that I haven’t had any issues with anything they have installed and or fixed! Couldn’t be happier with the work they have done on our three Jeeps and our truck!

Always helpful and quick with answers and options. Their schedule is sometimes a bit full but when they schedule you it hasn't moved for me. We've had a Jeep lifted, wheels, tires and alignment. Haven't had a problem out of their work or advice. Don't expect a lot of inventory but they can and will get it for you. I can appreciate the lower inventory translating to lower overhead and hopefully cost to me.

Last week I experienced the notorious death wobble in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler driving on Chattanooga's city streets. I have driven pretty aggressive trails that couldn't hold a candle to Chattanooga's pothole ridden horribly patched roads. I am new to the area and looked on line for a 4x4 shop and found Toms. I called them up and got in for an appointment a few days later. It turned out that I needed a complete steering rebuild. I upgraded to their heavy duty house fabricated drag link and tie rod and couldn't be more happy. They got me in and out and back on the road. I couldn't be more happy with the quality of work and knowledge these guys have. The death wobble is gone and my jeep steers like a dream. I highly recommend Toms for any of your 4x4 needs. Y'all rock!

Let me preface my post/rating.
I am a 44 year veteran of the automotive industry. I'm extremely well versed in everything drivetrain.
Since I retired and moved to Chattanooga area, it's been pure hell finding a fair and reliable person to work on my vehicles. I've been treated with disrespect and insults at near every shop I've been into. I've had two back surgeries and I just can't crawl under cars anymore. Nor do I wish to.
I've had my Jeep into two shops for vibration and steering issues. It has been in and out of repair shops for 6 months now. Frustration is the main word.
I posted on the TN Jeep forum on facebook on a reliable place to go. Tom's was recommended to me by several people. Then Skyler contacted direct through FB asking what kind of problem. I explained the symptoms and my experience on what I thought was wrong with it.
I brought it in, and within two weeks, we had troubleshot 3 different items.
They repaired those issues, and I just drove it home. Truly the first time it was safe and smooth to drive. I could even go the speed limit on the highway.
Am I pleased? Immensely. Am I happy? Oh yeah. Will I refer others, you betcha. Thanks guys. Another satisfied customer.
