Elder's Ace Hardware- Chattanooga

This is amazing is one of the best in the Chattanooga area their garden and the store is so clean and organize their plants are so healthy and uniques.Their associetes know their skill to anwer any questions regarless is a garden, tooling or any thing that they do carrie in the store.

If you need expert advice or if you are in a hurry and you only have an idea of what you need, this is the hardware store for you. The staff is absolutely the best at knowing their inventory and exactly how to help. I have walked in with a problem to fix a piece of furniture and they walk me through a solution and the right product. The home decor section has a nice selection too. All of my plants come from here as they also have knowledgeable staff who take care of the plants so they are robust and healthy. The knowledge and expertise here is unmatched by any big box store.

I wish people would stop reviewing this Ace and giving the garden center such high praise. I want it to be my secret.

Seriously, best Ace garden center ever. Great staff. Healthy plants. Great prices. Love this place. There are 2 aces significantly closer to me, but when I want a plant, I will absolutely drive this far.

Their plants are healthier then some nurseries in the area, by far.

Very much improved flower selection. They carry a large verity of Proven Winners plants at very reasonable pricing. They carry most of the Espoma "Tome" products and lots of other plant fertilizers and soils. Great place to get your gardening items.

I’ve visited Ace several times in past month. Each time I visit, the store is clean and the staff is extremely helpful. Once, I had to return a solar light that wasn’t working. I bought it on clearance and a male cashier said they weren’t able to take it back. However, the manager came and refunded me my money. It’s a bit pricey, but I’ll pay more for efficiency, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Friendly staff at this location. They actually re screen windows and screen doors here. I think it’s only 11 dollars for a window and 16 dollars for a screen door plus the cost of materials. I had to add all the photos because google is asking me for 1000 photos man that is a lot of photos. I wish they would be more appreciative of quality photos instead of just quantity of photos.

Their very helpful here and have a great selection for all your household and yard and Garden needs. You can find most everything to make home repairs or just brighten it Up with a new coat of paint.. As a contractor I go to the nearest Ace Hardware near the job I'm at for many things..Ace is the Place!!

I love to come here for rare philodendrons and surprise my wife with them. I think she has near 30 different philies and not stopping anytime soon. Most recent surprise was the Thai constellation monstera that I picked up from here for her birthday!! That was a definite score on the brownie points! She has went to it every morning to see if she might have a new leaf coming out yet in hopes of maybe a solid white leaf or a 50/50 split color leaf. She asks me often if I might be passing by Ace on my way home, lol. Next time your feeling like you need a little more greenery at home, stop and see the folks here at Ace hardware on hwy 58 for they will take care of you like they do their plants!

Great store with even better garden department with an excellent selection in plants.

Went to Ace on 58 today. 18°. Bought the biggest bag of organic soil they had. Christian loaded it for me, but it was frozen, and I needed to transplant my 4 new rose bushes TODAY. So he offered to find one less frozen. After carrying the huge bag the full length of the lot, he had to remove ice, shuffle bags, cut a new flat open and deliver to my car!!! So appreciate the effort and care in freezing cold temperatures especially. Thank you, Christian.

Very helpful staff, I have gone in with faucet parts in my hand and asked for help with repair parts and been pleased with the outcome. Great place to get local honey, when it is in stock. New traffic light is extremely helpful in what could be difficult and dangerous, especially if you were heading north out of the business on Hwy 58. New remodeling projects, seem to always be improving the store. The new outdoor plant area is phenomenal. Still always someone asking if you need help. They even added a register out in the nursery area for checking out. They have large carts with pneumatic tires for larger plants or large numbers. They also have a lot of standard nursery carts too.

I always enjoy coming here. They can be slightly pricier, but the convenience of the the location and personal attention you get are worth it.

every time I have come here they have exactly what I need & the staff is so helpful! But today they went above & beyond for me by helping me change a flat tire when I was stuck with just me & my baby! so thankful for such wonderful people here, especially Jeff who helped me with my tire!

Store was clean and orderly, aisles plainly labeled. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. I didn't visit the garden center, oh how I wanted to though, lol, but just in and out quickly for some bird food. They had plenty by the way and a large assortment of feeders and birdhouses for our feathered friends. I will certainly be back soon to check out the always abundant greenhouse 💕

Huge Ace with an amazing/surprising selection of houseplants. They also have a lot of options for shrubs and perennials. Awesome customer service as well.
