Hickam Main Exchange

Black Friday shopping 👍👍 Allowed Only 150 shoppers in the store at a time. It was controlled by a card to enter and returning card upon exiting. Tickets were given out for Special purchase items on a first come first serve basis good until noon.

Less crowded, have good selection, and souvenirs/gifts.

We shopped here for the first time while in Honolulu on vacation. The store is quite impressive! We found souvenirs to take home, tennis shoes, Hawaiian shirts and more. All at very good prices. There is a small food court nearby as well as the Commissary. The biggest, nicest Exchange we have ever had the privilege of shopping in.

Great food court in and out. The Exchange was large with alot of home needs items. And the Hawaiian t-shirt selection was Great. One if the best exchanges I been too.

One of the better “smaller base exchanges” I’ve been too. Good options, outdoor food truck area during lunch and easy to park.

Very slow inside, lots to shop for just older and slow.

Always comforting, majority of base exchanges are set up similarly and carry all the usual necessities as well as new products. Stores are always clean and inviting, and well stocked. Price match on everything and no sales tax. Personnel always friendly and helpful. Can't beat 'em!

Really didn't get a good look at everything inside. Just went into the barber's for a cut. But they had a food truck outside serving sushi and seafood. Outside was very clean. Has several food places inside.

Very good BX. Lots of products with slightly better prices than on the economy. Friendly service staff. Found everything I wanted and some things I didn't know I needed. ;)

Hickam Main Exchange is a functional exchange, not the largest military exchange on the island. Parking is plentiful. Located just across the street from the commissary provides the opportunity to visit both a department store and a large supermarket. Post office is also located next to the commissary. This layout is very similar to Marine Corp base Hawaii so for on base shopping Hickam is a great choice.

Great variety of things including souvenirs at great prices.

Make sure to bring your military ID! They offer a wide variety of things you would need but they only carry one to two of each item. There is a nice garden center, kids toys, health and beauty, snack items, pet care, holiday decor, furniture, electronics ect.

Great selection of products and good prices. I found they had things here that I couldn't find at the big NEX. I also like shopping here because it's not super crowded so the time.

Hickman Food Court was a great morning experience. The food court manger, Valarie W. was so available to the guest, she was professional and pleasant. I have a gluten sensitivity so Cely at the Subway made me the best salad it was delicious and feeling. When you are in a food court coffee or tea people should can or may stop at Starbucks... I did- and there I met Leanne and she made my day. Beautiful customer service and very professional . She was quite aware of her companies protocol and standards. Thank you you all for helping a mother, grandmother, senior citizen and a disabled veteran.

The BX is big with second floor. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well. Of course the weather is very nice in Hawaii. However the price for the products here seem little more expensive comparing to other states. I'm assuming this is due to it being on an island. Overall very good BX

This place is a hit and miss for me, some items they don't have. Also right now they are renovating the place so it's hard to find things. I do love the cashiers, several of them have made it a point to remember my husband and me. Also, people will go out of their sections to try to help us and we really appreciate the effort.

I can honestly say that I am always impressed and totally satisfied with staff members at our Hickam BX Exchange! You can sense the gratitude and sincere concern and respect shopping here! Simply outstanding and no one comes close to their expertise!

We went looking for a specific TV that was on sale, buy unfortunately they were sold out. We asked thw salesperson to call Schofield to see if they had any...which she did, but they did not. She was nice enough to give us a rain check. Then she was even more awesome when she tracked us down in the store to let us know that a shipment had just arrived with the TV we wanted! That was the most amazing customer service I have received in a looooooong time. Although the store was a little temperature for my preference, her customer service earns 5q stars!

Good selection, decent prices, great choices at the food court.

Great store with pretty much anything you could possibly want at discounted military prices. I got a great pair of name brand sunglasses for $23, marked down from $95.
