Carlos is hands down the best. Awesome to work with, very funny, very knowledgeable, and takes his work seriously and it’s like an art for him. And he has mastered the craft. I don’t wear suits all the time, but if I need anything I will only go to Carlos and I will pay whatever because no matter the price he makes you feel like a million bucks after he gets you squared away. His number one priority is his staff and his customers and he shows it. Only has the best stuff and does everything only the best work. I could sit in there for hours just talking to the man because he is just that awesome. His staff is also very friendly and nice and great to work with also! Will be going back whenever I need something, my business is here for life. Thanks Carlos!!

Bought men 1st suit off Carlos when I came to Peoria 20 years ago. Truly amazing and knows his stuff and you won't be disappointed. Now I'm getting married and instead of renting they offer a package to purchase for the wedding party for about the same cost. Thank you Carlos and Elliot for all you do.

I've known Carlos since the Bachrach days in the mall. I followed when he went to Men's Warehouse and now CS Menswear. Everyone here is experienced and has worked in the industry for a while. They understand fit, function, and price. This should be the first place a guy goes to shop for clothes. They have the latest styles as well as classic looks.

Nobody knows more about fit, fashion, and customer service than Carlos. Not only did he help me get a nice suit, I even bought really nice jeans from him and he had them tailored to fit me perfect. I didn’t know you could tailor jeans, but, in today’s world, it’s great to have a nice pair of jeans with a sport coat for a nice evening out. Carlos is the man.

Carlos was great. He got suits for my son's wedding party. Great guy to talk to about clothing, also.

Mr. Salem put together my first suit 3 years ago. When I walked in to have it altered he knew my name and exactly when he had first altered it. I called close to closing but that didn’t stop him from welcoming me to come in to drop my items off. Mr. Salem is hands down the best around!

Do not enjoy shopping. Need nicer shirts for work. Was sized and purchased a shirt at Men's Wearhouse (MW) several months ago. I rushed the try on--didn't button the top button or move around much in it. It looked nice. First full day I wore it, top button restricted my neck. Tight on my shoulders, triceps, elbows. A friend recently gave me a gift card to an online men's formal wear shop. Not trusting the sizing from the MW shirt, I drove over to CS Menswear. Without any backstory or prompt, Carlos noticed my shape and adjusted both my neck measurement and sleeve length to account for my non-standard build. Recommended varying sleeve lengths for different shirt styles (Slim, Modern, etc...), as the cut around the shoulders/arms would effect movement. Nailed the neck size. He pulled a shirt off the shelf that was a perfect balance of comfort and fit. Will go here in the future.

Walking into CS menswear is as close as you can come to going back to a time when customers were valued and appreciated. Selections, patterns, colors are plentiful and of good quality. I bought a suit, a french cuff shirt, tie and pocket square. The store is clean, well stocked and organized. With everything self serve and self checkout now it's refreshing to be assisted by a professional that knows why you're there, can ask relevant questions to assist with matching your need to the attire, knows his job, doesn't waste your time, and can answer your questions with accurate answers. It's important to Carlos that your needs are taken care of and your experience is top notch Carlos is the man! Yes I was impressed and yes I recommend CS menswear to anyone.

Carlos and everyone else at CS Mensware got all the men in our bridal party fitted quickly. You can tell they really care for their customers and are happy to be there.

They later fitted my husband for a funeral suit & got it to us within a week.

Let me begin by saying how I am not one who enjoys clothes shopping. I do not know what I’m doing, I always feel like the clothes do not fit right, or end up impulse buying and immediately regret my decision. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience shopping at CS Mensware. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly hello and made to feel as if we were the only ones in the store.

Elliott went above and beyond what we could have expected regarding service. He was informative, patient, and beyond helpful. Additionally, him and the tailor both stayed past close to save us a return trip before the event we were purchasing the clothes for.

We ended up leaving with an outfit I love, and a new go to for clothes shopping! This was our first visit, but it will not be our last. Between the selection, knowledgeable staff, and friendly service there is no comparison.

Elliott is amazing. That is my guy. He has personally helped me change my wardrobe and get me out of my comfort zone to try different things. He is passionate about men's clothing and appearance, and has so much knowledge. The customer experience with him is second to none. I highly recommend.

Carlos is THE MAN! I was just fitted for a new suit, shirt and shoes. You can see his decades of experience at work as he fits you. At every stage of the process we would land on a size, I would try it on and it fit great in my mind. But he wasnt satisfied until it was just right and he dialed everything in to perfection. He even adjusted the lacing on my street shoes to make them fit better! He is an absolute pro, and his pricing and selection are on point. This is the only place in Peoria you should be going for menswear, period.

I have bought from Carlos for many years. I started when he worked at Bacharachs in the Nortwoods
Mall and have been a customer from then on. I highly recommend Carlos and his new store is awesome. Fine quality merchandise tailored to fit. If you want to look good this is where you go.

Elliot is brilliant! High energy, asked tons of questions, knows the business very well. He does best when you let him take charge and trust his judgement; you will not be disappointed; got me in a great looking/fitting suit!

If you just want a suit/tux/sportcoat, you can go anywhere. If you want to look great, like you're on top of your game enough to deserve to wear something sharp, go to Carlos. Best in the region.
Given his level of expertise, you may need to be patient waiting your turn for his time. Worth every minute.
