This place is GREAT. The couple that own and run it are just the nicest people. Not only do they help you out but they can suggest what u need but how to do it. Awesome place and awesome people.

One of the best stores around. Van is one of the coolest people in PV. There's always good people working there that can help you out and make sure your questions are answered.

Mr. Van has been a part of this community for many years. Mr. Van and his staff are very knowledgeable about a lot of home or business material and they are very friendly. Van's hardware is also a U-Haul dealer.

Been going to Van's Hardware over 35 yrs and just went today. I was greeted at the door as I have been every time I go. They found me a Delta faucet cartridge by using my old one as a guide. With 100 or so cartridges on the wall plus 100's of repair kits, the young man found it in under 5 minutes. I then asked for a replac't aerator unit for our kitchen faucet, "0" rings to replace the unobtainium flat washer for my 25 yr old faucet shroud (39 cents ea.) $11 total for plumbing supplies that restored our $280 (1998 price) Kitchen faucet that is 25 yrs old. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have replaced that faucet set today for what I paid in 1998!
They have more Hardware than time to report on but HVAC filters, Nails 'n Screws by the pound. Wire, bolts, paint mixed. Van can sharpen or replace the chain on your chainsaw. Unlike Lowes you don't have to leave the dept you're in to find someone to help you. Don't forget the 25 minute 14 mi. One way Trip to Springfield!
Van's Hardware is a real convenience and asset to homeowners in the PV and Coopertown areas. God Bless 'em.

After having my plumbing checked a small hole was found in my dishwasher’s outtake hose. I called Van’s and he had the hose
And necessary clamps. He set the items aside for me until my granddaughter could come and pick them up. I appreciate him greatly!

Van is a super nice man and alway has a good story or a joke. Pretty awesome place for a local hardware shore! Pretty much has what ya need. I'd call before ya drive their and see if he has what ya need

What a great hardware store! The selection obviously isn't as large as someplace like Lowe's or Home Depot but they probably still have what you need and their prices are almost always lower than those places.

The best part is that when you come in with a project and you're not sure WHAT you need, they are always willing to help you figure it out.

Van's is great. Lots of those hard to find items or stuff you haven't seen/needed in years. They have everything, just not a big assortment of everything, which is just fine. The prices are actually lower than expected, especially for a small shop. The biggest advantage Van's has over everyone else is customer service. You always receive a friendly greeting and whomever is work can answer any questions, then show you where it is. This place is a gem and worth just taking a walk through!

They have a wide array of tools and hardware for great prices, and the staff that worked there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend checking this place out before going to any chain owned home improvement store. Have to support local owned businesses especially during the hard times our country is facing.

I love my little hardware store!!! Always great help, and helpful suggestions on any project I'm working on. Bought 2 screws today for my license plate and the gentleman walked out with me to make sure I got the right ones,and then installed my new license plate and cover 😀!!!. Shopping local here for over 20 years now, sometimes you have to go to the big box store, but 95 % of the time I find what I need here.

We rented our U-Haul truck from this location when we moved, the rates were very reasonable and the truck was immaculate, I was very impressed. The staff is friendly and helpful, they were very organized so that made the entire retail process simple and it only took a few minutes. The hardware store is small compared to major chains but they have a large inventory considering that it is a locally owned family business and most of your basic hardware needs would be available there.

I went here one time to make mortar tubes for some fireworks and they had exactly what I needed. These folks are always willing to help and make sure the customers are satisfied. Very nice selection of nuts and bolts.

Love Van's. I like to go here for most of my projects supplies. Renew your tags, get a key copied, paint for my shutters and she shed, materials for the chicken coop. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable.

In the 23 years we have lived in Pleasant View, we have never once had a bad experience shopping at Van’s Hardware. Van and his crew are not only friendly, but knowledgeable. The store may be small compared to Lowe’s or Home Depot, but you would be amazed at all Van’s carries. It is rare we don’t find what we need. Van’s Hardware is the kind of store you wish all stores could be more like.

Fantastic Small town hardware store!!! Not only is it full of personality with the bundles and bundles of antiques on the wall but the staff is in a league of their own. Although they wasn't able to help us with what we needed (not their fault) they went above their responsibilities and tried to find someone local who could.
Made me wish I lived locally because the store is a gem and had a ton of oddball products that are normally super hard to find.
