Performance Footwear is a must if you are looking for great walking or running shoes. The staff are very knowledgeable. Expect to spend at least an hour having your feet measured (you likely wear the wrong size) your stride analyzed and learning how to properly tie your shoes (yes, you are doing it wrong). The shoes seem expensive, but Google the pair you are buying and you will likely find no difference in price online. Lots of top brand, high quality shoes, like Hoka, Brooks, etc. We make the trip to this Mecca twice a year and are never disappointed.

After losing my last pair of walking shoes on a river trip, Candy Thomas and Jzon were nice enough to help me find a quality pair of replacements.

I walked through the door about twenty minutes before closing and quickly outlined how my feet are both smaller, taller, and wider than usual so it can be difficult to find shoes that fit. They came back with six different pairs and went through three more without hesitation and proceeded to fit shoes to my feet. Very professional experience.

I’m a slight diabetic. My feet hurt all the time from nerve neuropathy. A family member referred me to Performance Footwear. Candy Thomas was the person that waited on me. She recommended Brooks shoes and gave me all the reasons why she thought that was the best choice for me. My feet hardly hurt at all unless I get off my diet. I feel like these are people you can trust and are very knowledgeable About what they have in their store. Very professional, very friendly, and ask you relevant questions to help me your need. As long as they have the staff they have now this will be the only place I buy shoes.

I recently had the most incredible shoe buying experience at your store. It all began with Candy at the dealership where I work, who went above and beyond to understand my specific needs for comfortable and supportive shoes. She not only recommended the perfect pair but also took the initiative to order them for me.

The next day, I received a thoughtful text from Candy informing me that my shoes were on their way. When I visited the store, Alex greeted me warmly and provided additional assistance. His helpful and friendly demeanor further enhanced my overall satisfaction.

Jaxon Finch is by far the best shoe guy on the planet! He spent more than an hour with me, and really listened to the needs of my recently operated on foot. I even asked if I could try on a different pair that I thought was aesthetically appealing, and he led and guided me to not choose that specific shoe for my specific needs. He continued to fit me with the perfect shoe and really helps with my recovery from surgery! He is professional, kind, and extremely patient. And he has done his homework when it comes to good fitting shoes! Outstanding employee! Best in the business!

This is hands-down the best running shoe store in town! James and his team have been helping me find the best, most comfortable running shoes for years now. I've sent a number of my clients to them as well and they have all been very happy with the level of service these guys provide. Highly recommended!

I chose Performance Footwear as the closest one of two stores recommended to me. The selection was adequate with all the latest models of the major brands. Remi asked appropriate questions to properly advise me, and using digital analysis to check my gait, pressure points he showed me several models that best matched my needs, and even had me run a bit outside to gage my response. It made buying running shoes easy. They also let you wear them up to two weeks to ensure you're happy with them. I'll be back again for my next pair.

This store was highly recommended to me by a friend who has had many challenges with her feet and footwear. I recently injured a tendon in my ankle and am early in the recovery process, and knew I needed to buy some shoes that would be kinder to my tendons that my zero-drop running shoes.

I was really fortunate to be helped by Jaxon Finch, who despite it being late in the day on a Sunday took all the time I needed to listen to me, explain the alternatives and sell me a great pair of shoes.
